Re: NBA 2K16 Wishlist Thread

Contact/shot selection:

- There needs to be a better system to trigger shots after contact is made. Too many times you can trigger a shot after initial contact as if no contact is made as if there was no defense being played at all.
-Eliminate the pump fake contact that the CPU does to slow down your penetration without getting a foul. You get them in the air they make contact and slow you down from driving. This is a foul 10 times out of 10. If the CPU is beat just make the help defenders rotate or foul to stop the basket
-CPU has this ability to accelerate too fast from a standstill to a layup shot that requires actual momentum that they apparently don't need

Art/Graphics

-We need way more player models and editing ability of said models
- The hands needs to be scanned again some of them look weird and a little too big for the player.
-the arms and shoulders are off for a good bit of the players probably need to scan different players but then need again way more options
-Can we get mouthpieces/accessories that can come off and players? Hold them in their mouth and hands like Steph. If we can get moving hair I know we probably can get other accessories moving

Control

-Remove that hesitation move when driving to the basket that is totally out of our control. Now if you want to have it in at least make it controller dependent like if I backed off the stick while driving.
-Eliminate/refine sliding you guys are better from 2K14 but still need improvement
-Defensive control momentum penalty seems exaggerated too much negative physics was given yall have to find a better control balance and this really only applies to human controlled players

Passing

-Interior passing when close to a teammate is way too accurate and should result in way more turnovers. The CPU is getting away with so many high degree passes in traffic that it boggles my mind that the receiver caught the ball and even got the ball through without being deflected at all.

Immersion/Presentation

-There needs to be more discussions players and coaches during breaks and fouls. Also when subbing out players coaches should sometimes have dialog with the players they shouldn't always just go to their seat.
-Players need to talk to refs about fouls like interact with the refs about calls they didn't like or wanted to say what they did wrong. Animations like "I had my hands up.
-When you are up say in the fourth quarter and you sub your bench the crowd should roar and give them an ovation when at home.

Signature shots

-Please motion capture signature post moves so the hooks don't have to look the same. Players should have sig hooks running hooks, push shots in the post

Forget graphics...game already looks nice! LISTEN HARD 2K! you need to work/fix your foot planting and movement on D. last 2 versions on next gen have been terrible. There should be some way you can implement player speed/movement with the fatigue slider. Players fresh into the game should have crisp movement and as time goes on they become more sluggish, as you have it now pretty much every player cant move laterally to save their lives. Add the input delay and I might as well put my controller down and wait to inbound the ball after the basket is made!

Re: NBA 2K16 Wishlist Thread

How about that season/franchise mode feature where you can start the season based on what's happened in real life? They had that feature in a few years ago, and I thought it was cool. Really makes things nice if you have a season going but what to implement updates (shoes, player specific things, etc.).

[u]Crowd noise & Chants
Every arena does not sound the same. Fans are doing all kinds of things these days, as well as the sound conductors. The Miami Heat fans have been doing the "Oh, oh, o, o, oh," chant for a few years now. It's time to put it in the game.

Player choice at tip off
During that show off pan of the arena at the start of every game, we should be allowed to select the player we want to jump at tip off. KENDRICK PERKINS DOE NOT JUMP AT TIP OFF!

Shot selections should be pressure sensative & power receptive
There are 3 types of jumpshots in basketball. The set shot. The jumpshot and the jumpshot on the move. When taking a WIDE open jumpshot, players take their time and sometimes slow their release to measure the shot perfectly and to hold there follow through. If this type of shot were a reflection of button or stick pressure, it would be represented by a longer full press or hold of the button/stick. A quicker press & release for jump shots and a quicker press, release and left stick direction for any moving jumper. Left, right, back for moving fadeaways and FORWARD for leaners and lane floaters.

STOP CHANGING THE CONTROLS
Madden's controls have been a staple in the game since conception. Take a page from their book and maintain some consistency so consumers no what to expect. NBA 2k13 was the best control pad setup for moves and dribble moves.

Camera angles and action equality
The action for 2k camera angle is not equal to that of the other angles. All camera angles should provide the same spacing and visibilty in its' own viewpoint.

Player of the Game/Signature Highlights for 12 Minute Quarter Users.

If it's not there, I won't buy. Simple as that.

Re: NBA 2K16 Wishlist Thread

Here's one small gameplay thing that's been driving me nuts for years. I'll state the possible fix and then explain.

Disable the right stick shot mechanic from rebounds right under the defensive boards.

I use right and left stacks playing defense. When the opponent takes a shot and I'm still playing a defender, and my CPU teammate rebounds the ball, the split second latency of how the game receives controller input interprets the actions of the defender I was controlling as inputs for the player who just took the rebound.

The result, maybe 2-3 times per game, is a full court shot from my rebounder under the defensive basket, a full court heave.

Drives me nuts, year after year. The fix is to really stop using the right stick on defense, limiting me top just the left stick and turbo trigger. But when you do that, without mixing in some right stick shuffles and cutting off opponent movement, is momentum ice skating all over the court like some kind of hummingbird on meth.

On the higher levels superstar/hall of fame/ give us extra defense boost for playing good.
Like if we get a couple of steals blocks at keys moment we should be rewarded.
