Passing to the roll man and not getting a turnover

How do you successfully make a pass to the roll man on a PnR without getting a turnover? It seems that even when the roll man waves his hand at me asking for the pass as he's going to the basket, the opposing players seem to intercept the ball about 80-90% of the time.

I've tried bounce passes, flashy passes, regular passes. They seem to intercept ALOT of them.

Any tips on how to pass without getting turnovers?

Mu only dish to the roll man if they completly abandon him. The ball handler usually has morr than enough space. The AI overplays the roll man too much

You just REALLY have to time it right IF they are late rotating over. The PNR isn't money anymore. It's still effective, just not all the time. Call for it at the right times and make sure the dive defender has to come from a difficult spot. O'Gallagher put his stamp on defending these it would seem.

Only expect to hit the roll man around 20% of the time, or 1 in 5.
The other times look for the easy j or a man at the 3 point line.

You have to set it up. Just running PnR's all game the defense will make the right rotations. On the first couple of screens drive with the pg, then do a kick out, then mix in passing to the roller. Also, icon passing is your best friend. Unless its on a fast break, I icon pass everything. The passes seem crisper and more accurate. That's probably in my head, but it seems that the passes don't get tipped as much either.

I hardly pass directly to the picker who rolls to the basket. Only when it's a sure thing. You have to make sure the pick is successful and he has a missmatch, his defender tries to go over the screen and gets lost or both defenders follow you because of not switching properly and getting confused.

My recommendation is to learn your PnRs in you play book and run plays almost religiously down the court. Ever since I've done this I've been raping in HOF in MC. You start to really pick up some go to plays during a deficit and a pick n roll is much more successful after you ran an unsuccessful play because the defense is scattered. A pick roll throws them even more in a loop trying to pressure shooters leaving the lane wide open.
