NBA 2K16 buy or no buy?

I was going to buy until yesterday. Online just isn't going to offer anything for me. Only mode I ever play or have any interest in is online ranked and I feel they killed that this year, for me. I have 0 interest in playing against historic teams, any of them, it just makes the game feel arcadey to me. I also refuse to support a company that implements any sort of pay 2 win feature and/or nickel and dimes their customers.

To a lesser extent I'm also not a fan of the direction the game has been going in. I don't like to see so much focus being placed on arcade modes like MyTeam and Park, while standard online matches have been an afterthought and now completely ****ed.

I'm sure the gameplay is great, but I can't get past the things mentioned above. I doubt I buy Live either, but thankfully there's plenty of other good games out and coming out for me not to care.

day 1 buy for me loved 15. look like they've improved alot and added even more stuff

I have had the game pre-ordered since July and with each month, I only wanted to buy this game more. This game looks like it can be an all-time great (IF everything works as it is supposed to and the servers are not a complete mess).

Preordered this last week after weighing my options; I tend to buy 2Ks every two years and I was due this year, so I kept with the tradition -- gonna be playing this on my shiny new rig and it should make the game look amazing; the announced features for MyLeague/MyGM were the ones that convinced me to buy. I love a good dynasty and 2K16 looks to be the game I need to tide me over for the next two years.

Got it dirt cheap for PC. Disappointed that you can still defend under the basket and 3 pt line at the same time.

Getting it tonight. I enjoyed 15 and there have been enough improvements from gameplay that I have seen to buy it. Just hope My league isn't glitched as that's the only mode I play, but Im going to take the chance and trust its good, but its a worry for me, as it seems when they add a bunch of stuff is when Association mode would get screwed up.
