maybe its not that easy but idk.
I don't think the quality of their crowd audio is the problem. I'm sure we've all had moments where the crowd noise was spot-on.

But there are some serious bugs with when and how the proper crowd audio is triggered.

Typically, the home team scoring will trigger audio, and the intensity of that clip is dictated by the situation. But there's a lot of instances where the audio simply isn't triggered at all, particularly at the end of close games. Needs to be fixed.

Bingo. The average mind (Not really an expert) would think it's a matter of 2-3 days of code re-writting.

They do this. I've had multiple games where the crowd yells "THREE" and then claps regularly after. Or they start chanting "DEFENSE" and then start golf clapping after the offense misses. It really kills the mood.

I'm a sound engineer professionally for 9 years now, it baffles me how they can't get this right.

I honestly think sound is last on the list for sports games.

See if you can apply! Would be nice to have another OSer on the 2k team but involved in the sound department! Lol

Yeah, I've heard the "three" yell from time to time too. I can't remember hearing sigh effects if I miss though.

NEEDS to fixed in the upcoming patch.

I do not even care if they don't fix minor gameplay issues...the sound needs to be the priority.

Just had a close playoff game absolutely ruined by the lack of atmosphere down the stretch....close game, but I could almost have fallen asleep it was so dull.

The lack of correct sound / arena atmosphere sucks the life out of 2K16.

Compared to Fifa, Nhl, and just about every other sports game it is terrible.

I've never been impressed with any sports game in terms of crowd reaction. But I though 2k12 had the best atmosphere. Has been stagnant ever since imo. Commentary needs to be more into it too, really discuss it and be excited about that BIG moment
