Hell no, not anymore. After 12 years supporting them and buying 2k on release day, i will not anymore and ofcourse i wont read rigged or biased reviews. This game is subpar..i dont see any single thing that is great here, on top of all that after buying game i spent roughly 100€ (120$) on VC and they messed up game so i have to wait to start MyLeague.

Re: Are you buying 2k18 at launch?

Good question... the game changes too much for my taste out of box between knee jerk reactions and patches. I hate to say it but I am too much of a basketball junky for me to sit on the sidelines while the game drops.

I do hope that devs get a full cycle to work on the game and I hope they come up with a viable solution to cater to 2 different crowds next year. This is a triple A title that sells millions. They have to make it happen. Have to

Not a chance. This year was the last straw. I'll wait until the honeymoon period is over before I make a purchase.

I will. Why? In my opinion, there is no other basketball game out there as close to real life as 2k. Yes I know, there could and should be major improvements, but I love the game of basketball. I'm gonna get the closest thing to playing basketball without going outside. & I get every game for extremely cheap on the Low.

Re: Are you buying 2k18 at launch?

I love basketball, it is far and away my favorite sport.

I've given 2k the benefit of the doubt at every turn. Always day one.

But there comes a point when I cannot support crooks. I'll eventually pick it up on the secondary market, but I will have plenty of other games to keep me occupied until they're done releasing a glorified beta version that takes until November to fix.

Re: Are you buying 2k18 at launch?

Never again!

Since the early/mid 2000s, I could count on 2K to deliver a product I'd be happy with. It's the only game the last 10 or so years I've bought blindly (less vids released prior) on day 1. But the changes to shooting controls this year have taken a lot of fun out of the game for me.

Going forward, I'll need a hands-on before handing over that $59.99 + tax.
