Does anyone have any tips on how to use the cavs freelance?

I see this thread hasn't had any action in a little while but I figured I'd ask this question anyways, just incase anybody still out there. I was wondering what is an effective freelance option for a scoring point guard? I recently started playing myleague and chose the Knicks as my team. I've been experimenting with using player lock on my point guards to see if I can accelerate their development. I have Trey Burke who can score as well as Frank and I traded for Dejante Murry, who dont shoot as well as Trey. So I was just looking for good ways to get them assists or open looks to score eaay buckets. Any help is appreciated thanks.

does system proficiency actually do anything? or is it just there?

I think it determines those small boosts your players get for certain ratings (when you see the green arrow on the roster chart), but I'm not 100% sure.
