Was just playing a game with my buddy.

I was the Mavericks and he had the Knicks, 12 minute Q’s HOF difficulty, I had A.C.E on because I wanted the cpu engine to do its job but NEVER AGAIN, from now on I’m playing with A.C.E turned off..they kept putting Barnes on K.P and had Dirk on Courtney Lee, it was just messy all around, long story short it’s 7 minutes left in the fourth and I’m down by 12, and then I turned A.C.E off and what do ya know? I make a comeback and my denfenders were doing what I set them up to do. Meaning not leaving the shooters I set to tight and don’t over help on the pick and roll because he was abusing that...I ended up winning by 3. I never noticed how bad A.C.E was until today. Jesus!

Why didn't you just go in there and manually adjust the defensive match-up settings?

ACE isn't a Ron Popeil product. You can't just set it to ON and forget it. It needs babysitting occasionally. I've never seen a game where an AI is 100% perfect and foolproof.

Dallas defended KP with Wes Matthews in an earlier game IRL. I wouldnt stick Dirk on Lee, but it's not a particularly dumb strategy.

The real question is why Dirk would be matched up with KP in the first place when he's played center all year.

That’s what I kept doing and the cpu kept changing it

Dirk was playing center, max Kleiber was playing the four so he was supposed to be guarding K.P
