That's fair. I'll admit I have a different frame of reference. While I used to play ML, I haven't played since 2K15. My natural preference is playing another user in a PNO setting where I can use my Sixers. Ratings/Balance are super important in a PVP setting and while 2K can always improve here, their ratings do a great job displaying the talent gap with say a Tier 1 vs Tier 5 team and overall.

But for sure, I remember instances where season stats where skewed badly and it hurt the experience....the suspension of disbelief is a super underrated aspect of gaming.
