Yes, it should.

Why should we earn progress for park, walk-on, and regular team Pro-Am, but not for private matches? There's no difference other than giving us an option that should've been in the game already. The badge grind is long no matter how you go about it. I don't see that hurting anything. Like was suggested, they could cap the progress in those type of games or something like that.

I've got more than 9 other people i play with on the regular. Can you imagine trying to keep these party chats separate? If only psn allowed 10 people in a party. Either way, this is definitely a welcome addition. You should absolutely earn progress otherwise we're better off playing everything else. Day one when everyone is on those are going to be the best/worst games we've ever played. We'll all be so terrible at the game it will be amazing.

ya seem like a person who knows why people dont want progress in private matches, but you totally neglect the issue why people dont like, potential for boosters to exploit the system, ya seem like you just wanna boost badges in pro am sorry

i would cap rep at like 10k then i'd love to see the boosters try and boost with their friends day 1 in private pro am

i'd rather just put a hard cap on how much rep ya can get, cheesers will eventually find a way to progress faster in private than public

Don't presume to think you know me or what I want. I'm not one of these children that you play in the park. I just enjoy playing competitive basketball online and other than 1 vs. 1 games, running Pro-Am with the squad is my favorite way to do that.

If people want to cheat the system, boost, or whatever you want to call it, they're going to find a way. I see no harm in allowing us to get some sort of progress for any time we spend using our character, even if it's capped in some way. There should be more concern about whether 2K has improved its gameplay mechanics to stop garbage tactics and not whether I gain 2% of progress towards a badge.

Why not have badge progress but no OVR progress?
