Even though this isn't the same thing as the blog, data shows most of y'all don't even run plays, that's the issue with it not being updated.


This community needs to do better as a whole, but I see why every video looks like ragtaggers running by around just jacking up shots.

oh, they should. player movements on court are way cleaner when users run plays or freelances. way more fun.

Are series supposed to have play art?

I don't see any play art popping up in this Prelude 2KU mode.

Yeah the first action in it is an off-ball screen for the SG, but without any play art, I can't see if there are any further actions that are supposed to trigger after the SG catches that first pass coming off the screen.

I have the play art turned on, and it shows up whenever I call a set play for a specific player, but it doesn't show anything for freelances, 2K Smart Plays, or series.

Do you have to turn offensive playcalling to auto in your coach settings to make the non-set plays show up? I have that set to manual. I also have ACE turned off.

@Czar, in the blog you said you played on All-Star difficulty. Is that the best difficulty for a more sim experience? I believe Superstar was the best in the past with HOF being just slightly over the top on purpose.

Where are you guys seeing the option to change coaches setting in the Prelude demo. I don't see it anywhere in 2KU. There are other settings, but none of the playart, etc.

Here's me testing out one of the series for the first time. I was simply watching the white circle underneath my teammates. I didn't push the left analog stick at all, the white circle will switch between teammates. Pressing X will pass the ball to that teammate.

Looks like I can also keep waiting for the circle to switch to a different teammate or I could "go" (drive or shoot) with whoever I wanted. The white circle will eventually stop switching.
