I watched through most of that video, which team exactly in that video from 2k16 was doing 5 out going back and forth behind screens draining 3's?

Since when is "Rondo ball" good basketball strategy?

I always said i enjoy winning no matter what. Until i got on a really good team last year that ran this offense. I was a stretch big. I would really go whole quarters without a touch. And i quit after we lost a game because i missed a shot in the 4th that would’ve sealed the game. That was my only shot of the whole game, and ppl talked mess because i missed. I didn’t pay 100$ to watch another dude do everything.

That experience is why i, one, calmed down a lot on team pro am this year. And two don’t plan on ever getting serious about team pro am ever again.

Too many PGs think the only way to win is through them because they can spam into an anklebreaker animation and green 3s

This year if your a PG there was really no reason to make anything other than a playsharp. That build is so OP it’s sick. It’s basically a pure sharp that can dribble

Who thought of that archetype?

No the problem is people like you think your the only ones that can create offense.

Rashidi = what OP is talking about.

The answer is nobody. I was wondering where 5 out basketball was displayed also. I didn't seem much of anything in that video. Zig Zag'n in 2k16 was NERFED big time. Anybody who played that game should remember. It reverted back to its old ways in 2k17 and 2k never did anything about it. It's even more abused nowadays with folks zig zag'n behind screens due to Locks being super OP this year.

Pro-AM is trash in 2k19. Everybody be complaining about Sharps but teams are out here running 3 Locks and getting away with it this year. All you need is set shot 13 and you're set.

Yup. I can vouch for Set shot 13. I used it on my 6'10 Pure Lock last night. I don't have corner specialist on Bronze and was greening 90% of my shots from the corner even when getting passes from builds that don't have dimer. Base 24 is money also.

Re: Since when is "Rondo ball" good basketball strategy?

NBA Shooting Tendencies per 2019 NBA data

Shot-Inside-Close-Mid-3pt
PG: 70-40-40-20-50
SG: 65-30-30-20-65
SF: 65-35-35-20-55
PF: 60-40-35-15-50
C: 65-60-45-10-20

PGs attack the rim rather than settle for threes, and often carry the offense.
SGs are mostly shooting specialists nowadays, any Kobe-type is now at SF (ex: DeRozan is SF w/ Spurs)
SFs Do a little bit of everything.
PFs Are often specialists and role players nowadays, very few have an offense run through them. Three ball is more important than interior presence.
Cs are still dominant inside, but being able to flash out to the 3pt line now and again helps.

Mid-range is no-man's land and only the league's best attempt them. Most role players take a minuscule amount (tendency of 5 or less).

Most NBA teams employ "Rondo ball".
