I’m sick of the legendary players

Come on give those Legends the respect they deserve. The guys who don't care about classic Teams are mostly kids or teenies who never witnessed the golden era of nba. Sorry but I think most gamers won't play G-League or Euroleague. Especially not if they would leave out the legends. Without those players NBA wouldn't be where it is today

I think it's a bit presumptuous to suggest that they're kids or teenies who don't care about the classic teams. I'm a older man and i honestly don't care for the classics. They were fun when I played then when I was a teen but time to move on, it's a bit unrealistic to have them go up against the modern super teams.

Pure speculation on my part, but I am guessing the Euro teams added a few years ago was a trial run. The feedback was that it didn't feel authentic....it felt like Euro teams playing in NBA venues. So 2K had to weigh the cost of creating an authentic Euro experience + Licenses + Effort to update roster + Scheduling Formatting of the Euro League etc. At the end of the day, that cost wasn't worth the revenue of the added sales of people that would only but the game IF the Euro League was in there.

I don't play with any classic teams and if they were taken out I wouldn't miss them. Same with the WBA, MyTeam, MyPlayer or whatever other modes that I don't play... However, with that said I certainly see their value and I'm glad that 2k has pretty much something for everyone because that helps sells which gives them more revenue which allows them to add more to the game. If it were up to me, any current players would be their number one priority year in and year out but that's just not realistic given that the NBA legends are just so much of a selling point over some mid-level G-League guy.

I think people need to understand that the game isn't made 100% just for their wants, needs and desires. Yes, I would absolutely want to see G-League expanded upon and more current players.. I mean, I would never play any G-League games but I'd like to see anything more than what we currently have just for roster management... but at the end of the day, I realize that the devs have a lot of different groups of people their trying to cater to and only so much time and full G-League rosters are likely pretty low on the totem pole.

I don't know, bro... I feel like that's always the talk, is it not? "Could MJ's Bulls have beaten Bron's Heat? Kobe's Lakers? The 18-19 Warriors?" "Could Kareem/Wilt/Bill dominate the league now the way they did back then?" I feel like these are the speculative questions basketball fans are always asking and 2k gives us an outlet to at least give a virtual quasi-answer.

we can't gauge how MJ bulls / Kobe's Lakers / Duncan's Spurs could go up against Lebrons Heat / Cavs / Lakers unless it happened in real life. The game has too many wonky modifiers and mechanics where it's never going to be accurate. Even teams that should be good in offline mycareer are terrible like the bucks and lakers for me. It's too random and inconsistent.

Pretty sure nobody is expecting an 100% accurate simulation of historic teams going against each other. It’s all for the fun of it. Personally, I don’t even touch the current teams anymore, so I don’t care if it’s perfect simulation as long as I can use the retro teams
