In other words, as a sim player against the CPU, we should be able to leave a player like Roberson open most games and not pay a price for that stategy.

I wish more people realized that pretty much only one player in the league shoots even 50% when WIDE OPEN from 3 (closest defender >6 feet away), and that's Steph at 52%. I wish 2k would explain their decisions backed up by actual data so ppl would stop complaining..

That being said shooting feels the same from out of the box which is a big plus for me

Plus, I would never use practice mode to test shooting updates. In the several previous releases of 2K, practice mode allowed for constant easy green releases (regardless of level). It doesn't factor in fatigue, levels of shot contesting by defenders, or on the fly hot/cold moments.

Actually during shootarounds most NBA shooters are pretty amazing. Like Steph with 93% 3pt during shootarounds (93/100). But during games it's very different.

I've always wondered why there's not a much bigger discrepancy between % made in shootarounds and in games.

Anyone else find this weird? Why is a player with a 3 point rating of 60 shooting 48% from the corner? And that's with NO BADGE. Even if he's open. That's basically Andre Roberson shooting 48% on corner threes. He shoots 29% from the corners in real life.

Yea that dimer badge was always a bailout for nonshooters...
