Change the GID to match a team with similar colors....or assign a GID that is generic. Just make sure you don't have duplicate GIDs.

Ok , so now my roster is done but I just noticed now that when I go to season mode and turn on the option to allow me to assign my own teams to the season it then goes to that screen fine but there's a lot of BLANK spaces where the teams should be , when I press on a blank space I can then choose a team but then that team name disappears , then ultimately freezes , quick games work fine but season and playoff mode (I assume ) crash , at first thought it seems like a division or even TType issue, anyways anyone have any suggestions before I start troubleshooting ,

It's probably the division setup. Make sure you have 5 teams assigned to each division in the first 30 teams listed. No more...no less.

Yes that's what I'm hoping it is , I've reassigned them already , I just have to test it now , thank you for your response

Some tips to all who are creating a roster which involves over writing nba teams and re arranging teams in alphabetical order .
1.plan ahead when creating your team , if the team you are creating is going to have say Red and white as jersey colours then select a nba team with very similar jersey colours , in this case you would overwrite the bulls, this makes the crowd wear your team colours .
2. If possible , you want the first 30 teams to keep the same division/GID setup , doing this avoids any conflicts especially in season/assosiciation/playoff modes.
All teams after the first 30 slots should be assigned 8 as division , and 22 as TTYPE , the first 30 teams should be 0 for TTYPE
3. Remember to go to team management in game and let the CPU assign the minutes shared with in the team , if you have a player on multiple teams and your subs are set to 'ROTATION' this will cause conflict as the minutes will not assign properly and will crash the game, I suggest if needed clone that player so each player has his own ID , then make sure the player on each team is using each unique ID .

Just some tips from recent issues I've dealt with that may help ppl , again thanks to all involved with REDMC and this thread , this is what has worked for me
