After playing the combine and LIVE 10 demo, I tried 2k9 last night and the players are huge and there is no spacing at all! I turned that junk off. Lookin forward to 2k10 and LIVE 10 though.

I should be trying to play basketball, not wrestling the controller. I try to do one simple crossover, and the game leads my player ALL OVER THE COURT. One could argue that I'm just bad at using the isomotion, but it shouldn't be this difficult in the first place. Like I said, I'm trying to PLAY BASKETBALL.

Second, the defensive game is too poor. There is little in the way of help and weakside D, as for some reason, weakside defenders stick to their man like superglue, and there's simply no help. Also, the defensive rotations need work, and it's difficult to stay in front of your man when the animations are all over the place.

Third, there is NO POST-UP GAME post-patch. None. Unless you do some heavy tweaking, Shaq will have trouble backing down Nate Robinson. Plus, whilst some post moves are too effective, others simply don't work.

Next, the game is much too cheese heavy. There are too many unstoppable animations like the ghost layup and the forearm drop step in the post, that can't be fixed with sliders. Also, there are too many cheesy backdoor cuts and the defense will do nothing to stop them, defenders will just stand there, watching.

Moreover, plays are useless. Plain and simple. Even the pick and roll often fails to work, because the C or PF will frequently just stand there after the pick. It's more like pick-and-not-roll. Geez, if I wanted a pick and pop, I wouldn't have called for a pick and roll, 2K.

And that's precisely why I can't stand playing 2K9.

ok thanks, those are things that definately need to be fixed..also didnt like those things but I still really liked the game and had fun with it.
