Overall is 2k12 worse than 2k11?

Personally, Steve Kerr alone makes it a better game. It's less Clark Kellog which is good

i'll wait until the patch, but as of now i enjoyed 2k11 more...the control was more responsive and it had less delay to the movements.

2k12 has control and responsiveness issues...delayed pass animations, sluggish directional changes, delayed acceleration, incorrect pass types made by players, delayed layup animations, layups in situations where there should be a dunk...it's a mess in certain areas. i don't think this stuff will be addressed much in the patch, but hopefully i'm wrong.

I'm enjoying 2K12. It has everything I want in a sports video game. I've tweaked some of the sliders and for me it plays flawlessly. I want a game that accurately depicts how the game is played in real life. 2K12 does that. I want a game that accurately depicts how individual NBA players play in real life. 2K12 does that. I want a game that makes me feel like i'm watching a live television broadcast.(the outside stadium shots are amazing and you only see them every once in a blue moon which makes them a real pleasure) 2K12 delivers that and so much more. NBA 2K12 is the best sports game I've ever played. I traded in 2k11 2 months after I bought it. 2k12 isn't going anywhere anytime soon. I'm satisfied.

My player mode is 109328253 times better this year in my opinion. The gameplay is so much better than 2k11 in pretty much every way. I haven't even had to touch the sliders, just turned it to simulation and set it to 12 minutes and it plays beautifully. And the features in My Player mode have all made the mode so much more addicting for me, and personally, I haven't had many trades at all and I'm in my 2nd season.

Once the game is patched to fix a couple of slight issues in the game modes, this game will easily be the best basketball game of all-time in my opinion. I think it already is, but with a patch to fix a couple of things, it will only widen the distance.

2k12 is the better game for sure. There are issues I have with gameplay like passing and fastbreaks, but overall it's a better game and I'm really enjoying it. I hope the patches don't fix one issue and mess up another though.

I predict the same thread will pop up for 2k13 on how 2k12 was better than 2k13....smh...

Speaking about the commentary...nothing personal against Clark Kellogg, but does anyone else think that Kerr sounds much smarter? Sometimes I imagine that Harlan and Kerr are sitting back and while Kellogg is talking they are sharing laughs and stuff behind his back... Again, nothing personal against Kellogg, I didn't even know him before he joined the NBA2K commentary team.

Isn't Kellogg a college announcer ? Why do they even have him on an NBA game anyway ?
