The Infamous Back Court Glitch
How many of you Guys witnessed the back court glitch? When a person steps backcourt and the ref's either call foul or dont call anything? It's disappointing almost as much as the inbound glitch from 2k9. If you still don't know what I am talking about I've made a video...

Re: The Infamous Back Court Glitch
If he is forced back court by a bump, it is supposed to be a foul. 2k11 had this wrong. In 2k11 it was a glitch. There is plenty wrong with this game, this is not an issue. This is a misunderstanding of rules on your part my friend. -
Re: The Infamous Back Court Glitch
I like how they now call blocking fouls when guys try to force bump you backcourt but in the first clip of this video the ballhandler clearly goes over and back and nothing at all is called... That's completely wrongComment

Re: The Infamous Back Court Glitch
He was also clearly bumped, so actually you should be happy the ref missed the foul on you.Comment

So you're saying that the way that first clip played out is perfectly fine?Comment

Re: The Infamous Back Court Glitch
In my post I state that "nothing at all is called". Meaning not a backcourt violation or a foul. I'm not saying that strictly a backcourt violation should've been called. I'm saying that if a player clearly goes backcourt then subsequently SOMETHING should be called.Comment

Re: The Infamous Back Court Glitch
LOl the funniest part of the video is when he points out that the ref is right there as if the ref was a real person. It's a video game something things will not happen the way they were programed to, last year you were the one penalized for the most part it work they way it should now.Comment

Re: The Infamous Back Court Glitch
The bigger problem I have with that clip(the 2nd part) is the collision detection. His defender had his back turned to John Wall and was still able to initiate a bump animation. I wish stronger offensive players wouldnt give so much ground to the bump animations and we as users would be able to break out of the animation or stop our momentum sooner from going backwards. Not even the best defenders should be able to bump you like that. They should at least be facing the offensive player.Comment

Re: The Infamous Back Court Glitch
If I'm correct the ball has to go over and back not feet, that's like its not a touchdown in football if your feet cross but not the ball.chuckcross.bandcamp.com

Re: The Infamous Back Court Glitch
Just did a quick Google search on the NBA backcourt violation rule and this is what I found...
NBA Rules 101 — Backcourt Violations
The NBA rulebook states “A ball being dribbled is (1) in the frontcourt when the ball and both feet of the player are in the frontcourt, (2) in the backcourt if the ball or either foot of the player is in the backcourt”.Comment

I thought you were talking about the one in 2k12 where the other team knocks the ball backcourt, you get it, and they call 8 second violation....Comment
