Re: NBA 2k13 Rosters

I've implemented silent error logging for stuff like that in the version I've just released (0.5.2.2), and here's what's getting logged while trying to paste your data:

Code:
FormatException for key RBallHnd with value
FormatException for key RHidden with value
FormatException for key RLowPstO with value
FormatException for key TPostShot with value
You've left some columns empty, which is why this error is happening. You're supposed to not include any columns that don't have data, but still, the latest version (0.5.2.2) will not replace any data it can't parse (such as columns with empty cells, like you did), and it will silently log those errors to "tracelog.txt" under "My Documents\NBA 2K13 Roster Editor" so that you can check if your paste had any errors.

Re: NBA 2k13 Rosters

Tried to do OKC. Here's the result

Didn't edit any hotspots, since there were no values in the spreadsheets. The other colums that had no data in it (like Low-Post-Fade) haven't been edited as well.

Let me know if it worked

A Kravtsov CF is in the works over at the NLSC. Keep it in mind.

The copy and paste worked, but it pasted the information to the wrong players. Westbrook Harden's ratings, Thabeet got Westbrook's ratings, Maynor got Durant's ratings, etc.

How did you get the copy and paste to work? I am absolutely not figuring it out. If I can get it figured out, I may be able to get the roster out in a day.

Re: NBA 2k13 Rosters

slimm44, I'll try to make it simple:

1. Copy-paste the Players table from the tool into a spreadsheet.
2. (Optional) Delete everything except the first row that has the column names.
3. Delete any columns you don't want to edit.
4. Enter the data you want to edit, or copy-paste it into the rows after the one with the column names.
5. Copy-paste the whole resulting thing back to the tool.

PM me your contact information (any IM like Skype, Google Chat, Facebook, MSN, whatever) so that I can help you more directly via a short chat to answer any questions you have.

EDIT: If you already have a spreadsheet, only thing you need to do is make sure the first row of the spreadsheet has column names that match the ones in the tool, so that the tool knows where to paste what, and that you also have a column named "ID" that has the Player ID for each row, so that the tool knows which row is for which player. The rows don't have to be in ascending ID order, the order of the columns doesn't need to match the one in the tool, nor do you have to have all columns that are in the tool.

Re: NBA 2k13 Rosters

Darn.

You copy all the rows from the roster editor (so you'll have the header columns) and then you copy&paste the values from the spreadsheet.

This is what I did.

1. Copy headers from editor and pasted them into a spreadsheet.
2. Ordered the Kings from ID 152 through 165, along with CF ID's and Portrait ID's.
3. Copy/pasted the ratings and tendencies from my spreadsheets so they lined up with the appropriate columns.
4. Made sure every spot had numerical data in the correct range in it.
5. Copied the data, including the headers.
6. Went into the editor, went to the ratings section, hit control v to paste, got an error message with a force close window.

This happens every single time. I've sent my spreadsheet to Leftos. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. The most frustrating part is that I usually don't make errors like this. It has to be something silly that I'm doing wrong.

Re: NBA 2k13 Rosters

Nope, it was my fault. I lost my dear grandpa 2 days ago, so I've been really distracted today. I fix one thing and another breaks and I don't even notice it.

As I told you in my PM reply, it should be working now.
