Shumpert has looked good these last couple games. Nice to see him cutting and getting to the basket and not just camping out in the corner.

Amen and Amen. The hype train has just left the station for me. Let's go!

I'm one of the few who's glad the Knicks didn't trade Shump. I want to see how he does in a new system with a new coach. For some reason, he was always in Woody's doghouse.

Agreed. I think (hope) the triangle will help Shumpert out because prior to, he always seemed so lost and unsure of his role on offense. The triangle will tell him exactly where to be and what to do when he has the ball. He'll just have to go through that learning process. He'll get his chance to shine, though, because I firmly believe JR Smith will play his way onto the bench. That dude is not ready for structure on offense.

After watch some of the Hornets vs Bulls, it just confirms how far behind we are.

Those guys go after it. On both sides of the floor. Tenacious.

I compare Shump to a guy like Jimmy Butler and Butler is so far ahead of him it's not funny.

We tend to make excuses for Shump because of the system but Shump is just way too inconsistent. He's very active on defense but he doesn't moved the needle on offense.

I don't think we'll even challenge for the 8th seed. Probably 10th.

Guess I'm late to the party and forgot to check for this thread. These damn Jets have been giving me so many headaches smh.

But basically, even with the new system, better PG etc. I still see us at the bottom of the Eastern playoff picture, most likely 8th. So far, some of the "key" players don't look like they get it yet, which is fine for now.

But finishing 8th or anything lower wouldnt make me crazily upset. We actually have our own pick this year and the likes of Myles Turner in a Knicks uniform makes me excited.

In short, I'm predicting 38-40 wins, 8th-9th seed. BTW, I want Travis Wear on this team f*** Outlaw

Problem is this is coming at the expense of Early's development.

I like Wear BTW.

Maybe .500 if these clowns make an effort on defense. Last night against Milwaukee the D was spotty at best.
