This is the problem that we face on AA. Even though the stats seem "even" with good teams, etc. It just seems to me that the CPU will always get their butts handed to them in the end.

It kinda sucks, because I think when you have great scrambling QB like Young and you play on anything but Heisman you are gonna destroy the defense. The option is amazing in this game.

Re: EA's Slider Code for actual player ratings

I used these sliders for two games last night. I am central michigan, a terrible team. I had to play Toledo at home, and they were #17 at the time, 7-0. I actually played very well, and lost 49-42.

The next game was vs NIU, at home, and they did very well against me. They won 52-34 I believe.

In all I believe these sliders to be balanced. I may set them up a little for less offense, however.

Just played an awesome game against Rutgers as Buffalo...won 28-21. Unfortunately, my RFTH QB just got knocked out for 4 weeks with a concussion...no Heisman for me this year

Re: EA's Slider Code for actual player ratings

I'VE CREATED A DEFENSIVE SET OF SLIDERS THAT BEEF UP THE DEFENSE JUST A TAD.

THEY ARE ON THE FRONT PAGE SET TWO.

I show no favorites to either set so basically they both play great one just forces you to protect the ball better because CPU's players get an upgrade in ballhawking skills.

I'm done tweaking sliders but if anyone has questions I'll answer within the thread. I hope atleast one set will satisfy your gameplay needs.

Does this pertain more to the defense's passing or rushing game?

Thats why Heisman level I just can't get into at all, cause even with you Analogy on how the sliders work on AA, On heisman It's just not that way I think the player ratings on hesiman level are just like doubbled for the CPU. Anyway I'm still loveing your sliders. And Bill I have never seen a DT/DE/ catch my running back ever in the open feild. Amybe I saw a LB catching my RB, but that normal, bill give them a go I think you will love them. Playmaker great job again.
Playmaker I am playing VT vs NC State and I can not complete very many passes at all. Just one here and there. What's the deal.

I upped the defensive AWR for guy's who controll lower rated programs. I think 25 AWR was kinda unfair for those guy's because their players were already in the low 70's high 60's. Basically, all Ive done is up the AWR for a guy who might play with UCONN in his dynasty or say Buffalo.

But don't get me wrong both sets are very good. I think that some people just need more time to get use to the passing defense this year. If you play against Maimi or USC with a weak secondary using my sliders your azz is going to get smoked. So, I helped some guy's out a little and increased KNDWS, INT, AWR .

I'm very close to giving up on this game. I'm just not getting the experience I'm looking for. I can't get the right balance of gameplay. This is the most frustrating game of the series for me. Even more than last year's game.
