I still wanted to involve the deep ball but not have it abused so your best option is to go up or down on INT's. But 15% is just fine in my opinion or lower QBA to 15-20%

Both OL's can open up holes up the middle even though I lowered thr RUN BLK slider a little more. I balanced it out with BRK BLK slider so it should be ok on each side. THe RBA's are both at 25 and trust me they can both be productive because of the creases up front. You can raise both 5-15% more but I think the game flows much better at 25/25 simply because of the Run blocking up front if you look for the holes. I've watched this on replay repeatedly and you will see if you get stuffed it wasn't because of poor blocking all the time. So, you have to stick with it and stay patient without trying to bounce everything outside because the CPU will adjust to your running game tendencies.

As far as Pancakes I think the biggest culprit is that after watching replays and then going back to check the Strength of both OT's and DE's where the problem appears to be the most is that the DE's are all undersized and they give up almost 15-25% more power at the point of attack to the OT's. In other words the DE's are like 70-75 in Strength and the OT's are roughly around 85-95% in many cases. I think the best thing to do is control one of your DL preferably your weakest guy up front and it should help decreases PANCAKES somewhat because your holding up at the point of attack better if you control him.

Playmakers,

Do you play on an Xbox or on a PS2. I have a PS2 and running gets out of hand with the CPU's sliders that low and human runblocking that high. Also, the CPU QB has no chance with Pass Block that low. Too many sacks, and I just control a DT and rarely get the sack myself. The DE's and Linebackers eat the Computer up.

Re: Playmakers' NCAA 06 Heisman Sliders

I play on PS2 but I'm not having that problem.

Maybe on AA level it can get crazy with that setup but on Heisman it's different because the sliders are backwards. Also, take a look at my AWR settings on the front page they are jacked up to 50-75 for Human player either even though it's Heisman.

You might be speaking of AA level.

No, I am definitely playing Heisman on PS2. Can you please list your Heisman sliders again. Perhaps I have something confused. Thanks.

I found some interesting information for those who like to tweak the coaching sliders to get the crazy QB's #'s down across the board and more running involved during your Dynasty games.

I actually used this chart to edit every teams playbook and it works pretty good. It helps to tone down on the insane amount of passing yards that you might have witnessed in your dynasty. I personally used this guide along with an extensive ratings system that require's mass editing of QB accuarcy for all QB's in the game. It helps out for about 2-3 years befoe the high rated recruits start to take over. But hey I only play 3 season's at the MAX anyways.

This info was from last year so some teams have changed only sligthly. I checked the coaching sliders and they pretty much matchup give or take 5%. The two highest Passing teams I have now are Hawaii and Texas Tech and both are at 40/60 as opposed to 20/80 that EA has them set at in the game.

Are you saying on Heisman, sliders are backwards? If I jack up the CPU awareness slider to 75%, are you saying I am making the game easier?

I like the RBA at 25%, I also have my run block at 40% and the CPU Break Block around 70% and the CPU AWR at 65% and my running game is giving me great realistic stats.

I have my Pass Block at 45% and the CPU Pass Block at 80% and the sack numbers are right in line at about 2 to 3 per game for each team.

I only ever control the DT on defense and rarely ever make the play myself, maybe 3 tackles a game.

I will do some more tweaking using your sliders tonight, because sometimes my passing seems a little out of line. I'll try the QBA at 25%.

Re: Playmakers' NCAA 06 Heisman Sliders

no they aren`t backwards... they do have different effect on the game since on heisman the CPU get a HUGE advantage on many areas.. so you can`t play both level swith same sliders set.

Re: Playmakers' NCAA 06 Heisman Sliders

Man, Gerald Riggs just put up 146 yards last night on me with 32 carries I believe. His longest run was for only 17 yards I believe playing against Texas defense. It was sweet because he kept pounding up the middle and his 3-5 yard runs allowed the Vols to have like 4 sustained drives that went 8-10 plays.

There IMPACT CB Allen had a few nice pass deflections in man coverage deep so that was pretty SWEET!

I lost the game 26-17 but I did manage 129 yards rushing on 25 attempts with Selvin Young. I didn't run Vince Young that much because I prefer to step up in the pocket and pass rather take off all the time.

I'm going to test play about 2-3 more games with these and make them FINAL because I've noticed by switching AWR's by qtr's during test play for the CPU the base set doesn't really need to be changed too make the CPU react more to your skill level. Only the AWR needs to be plugged in for the CPU defense (25, 50, 60). I have the base set at 35 AWR for them right now.
