You have to have these backwards... Boise St. and Hawaii are not 80% run teams, but should be 80% pass teams...

These aren't supposed to mirror their real life counterparts.

They are pushed more one way or the other because out of the box that certain team calls either more pass or more run plays and these settings help balance it out to a more realistic play calling scheme.

In this case, Hawaii out of the box passes on nearly every down. With the sliders set at 80% run they will actually run the ball once or twice.

Catch my drift?

By your logic then, Rice shouldn't be at a 60-40 run/pass as they are a strict running game. Where is the consistency there? I'm just saying that it shouldn't have the "realistic" tag if the teams aren't playing to their realistic style...

Look at it this way...

The coach sliders are BROKE out of the box. Teams do not run/pass the amount the sliders are set at.
So if a team is set at 60pass 40run, when you play them they may actually
pass 80% of the time. Just because jukeman set a team to 80%run does not
mean they will run 80% of the time because the sliders are broke. He simply
found the correct 'offset' to fix the broke sliders.

I'm glad someone understands.
