BTW, has PM made any Heisman sliders yet?
With these, I don't think there will be a need for Heisman sliders. The tough teams will eat you alive if you don't use your head and stop the run.

Re: Playmaker's AA 360 sliders for 08

these so far have worked great. I just cant seem to get a good game on heisman. My games are either blowouts or high scoring games and the team with the ball last wins. But with these I am getting blowouts, defensive games and high scoring games

All right cool. I'll take a look at these again and maybe incorporate them with my own...especially on the CPU Defensive side. I'm running to well with the slider set I'm using. I know PM has a tougher defensive set than what I'm using now.

*UPDATE*

OK, I updated my sliders with an influence from PM's set. I increased the CPU DEF AWA to 100 and CPU TKL to 100 and the game is feeling better than ever. I am still able to run, but it's definitely not as easy. I may not have to move up to Heisman after all.

Re: Playmaker's AA 360 sliders for 08

From Playmakers:

Updated 07-27-07

I went back and modified the sliders in order to get both sides as equal as possible. I mixed in some of SteelerSpartans tweaks with my original sliders.

There is no doubt in my mind that if you control a good defensive awareness team they will still make plays but you'll also have to call plays that help them to perform defensively. If you struggle to stop the run or pass then these sliders most likley aren't going to be what your looking for out of the game.

I realize in college football all teams aren't equal but I'm not trying to capture the essence of realism in a video game. I'm trying to make the game competive for me over the long haul and unfortunatley some of the settings on defense might frustrate you more than it would me.

8-10 Minute QTR's helps to get more penalties called and more sub's in the game when you adjust the the fatigue settings.

I've seen several sets that folks have used, have read the results, and the int problem is still just that......a problem.
The user just pics off to many passes....well Playmaker has (imo) found the problem. It has to do with the knockdown slider,I've seen several sets and have used several sets, and they all seem to have the kd slider maxed or close to it,turn that baby DOWN lol.

Here's a little excerpt of his findings............

The KDWN and the INT Sliders are reveresed.

The good thing is all I have to do is find a good setting for the INT slider now. They work differently and setting the INT slider to zero doesn't stop INT's. You have to use that slider as your KDWN Slider.

I'll be back soon with an update on the settings for KDWN and INT.

Hope this helps....I know from first hand experience that this works,as I've played a few games (4) and have only seen 2 pics from my db's and safeties.
