Re: Stewaat's slider log

BTW, this is why I always end up on heisman every year. I don't care if the CPU can do things that aren't realistic as they need all the help they can get to compensate for EA's total lack of football IQ. I am guessing that if the madden test truly tested football IQ and not just stick abilities (which I believe is more the case) that no EA developer would get rated higher then simply having a pulse.... no way anyone there has a clue AND a say in what goes on in this game.

Re: Stewaat's slider log

Right, i like the way the game physically (?) plays on AA, but dont feel like it offers a big enough challenge. I think that WVU should SMOKE Marshall more times than not. Maybe im a glutton for punishment, but i want the CPU to destroy me if i deserve it.

Re: Stewaat's slider log

yeah, it sucks that it has to be this way but I would rather have a shootout with the CPU 70-68 then an easy blow out 70-14 even if it means that Heisman = CPU cheats my D. I just don't see how anyone can play on AA on offense when its cheese easy on heisman to score with half dozen house rules.

only way I ever have to punt is if I make a pretty big mistake on 1st or 2nd. Usually a D-Line will come free and I will hold the ball too long for a 10 yard sack coupled with an incompletion. outside of this, it seldom ever happens.

Re: Stewaat's slider log

Check out the original post. I have updated my settings and given a tip for increasing the odds the CPU will call a better game.

I'm about to play my first dynasty game with these:

Colorado State (67 overall, 73 offense, 69 defense) @ Colorado (79 overall, 79 offense, 80 defense)

I'm using Colorado and I should be able to take care of CSU without too much trouble. I'm looking for how their running game is, their play calling, and how their secondary plays against me.

Their playbook is one of the 14 listed in the original post so I'm hoping they will call a decent game.

Re: Stewaat's slider log

After trying several slider sets to make it tough on me using a top tier team (USC) I have come up with this:

Offense:
35/45
0/5
0/0
45/65
0/100
Defense:
35/100
0/0
0/0
55/100
20/20

I am playing on AA 8 min qtrs and my last 2 games:

USC - 20

WSU- 7

&

USC - 23

Arizona - 17

I should have lost this game as they had a 4th Qtr tipped pass for a td overturned (ref said it hit the ground). CPU QB threw was 21-35 for 307yds 2TD's 1 late pick that ended the game.
I had them using the Wisconson playbook (I now they are a spread offense)but they ran the ball effectively and quite often.
Just wanted to share, but it really seems like changing the playbooks really helps.
