Re: Kooontz's AA sliders with results

1st half, BBB Minnesota at BBB S. Carolina (me)

Score Minn 3 SCar 21

First Downs: 6-10
Offense: 106 - 208
rushing: 9-24-0 ; 13-49-2
passing: 10-13 82-0 ; 9-11 159-1
3rd Down: 2-5 ; 2-2
TOP: 7:08 ; 7:01

Pretty good, except CPU needs to run more...

I have adjusted the sliders to:

35/35
50/50
40/55
50/60
50/70
40/45 (I don't think it's possible to pass anything above 50, as the CPU runs the routes for you)
50/55
30/40
40/60
40/60

maybe I need to put the cpu run block up to 80 and lower hum run defense to 30...I also think the QB's are completing too many passes...maybe lower it to 25

Re: Kooontz's AA sliders with results

Final Score 31-10 USCe (note, I simmed the USC offense b/c of a 7 year old who wanted to watch the Phillies).

I played Defense vs CPU (minnesota).

Key stats: 24 rushes for 67 yards by Minn; Passing 22-33 242 -0; 7/14 rd down

lowered CPU RBA to 55, HUM Rush d to 30, CPU run block to 80

After Phillies game, gonna play a power team and see what happens...Wisconsin or something like that

Zero offense for me. Gotta lower the CPU defensive sliders all around. Couldn't run, couldn't throw. The offensive numbers for the CPU are good. I Like those, but trying to run the ball was like trying to bang my head against a brick wall.

Re: Kooontz's AA sliders with results

Hmm yeah the new patch is supposed to improve the rush defense slider. Once it's released, that might help because the rush D, and run block sliders aren't as effective as they were prior to the 2nd patch. I've played game with the run block slider at 100 and the cpu rush D at 0 and not notice a difference. That UNC-Wisky game did not look like much fun to play. Here are the stats from 2 bowl games.

FSU (User) vs OSU in the National Championship game

Ohio State 24 - Florida State 31
1st Downs 25 24
3rd down efficiency 33.33 - 42.86
4th down efficiency 100 - 0
Total Yards 458 - 559
Passing 178 - 219
Completion Attempts 13 - 21 -- 15 - 20
Yards Per Pass 8.48 - 10.95
Rushing Attempts 25 - 28
Yards Per Rush 5.64 - 6.57
Turnovers 2 - 2
Fumbles Lost 1 - 0
Interceptions Thrown 1 - 2
Possession 12:52 15:08

Rushing ATT Yards TD Long
OSU: Brandon Saine 22 135 1 55
FSU: Jermaine Thomas 24 175 3 43

And also Florida vs PSU (User) in Capitol One Bowl

Penn State 21 - Florida 24
1st Downs 25 - 27
3rd down efficiency 36.36 - 36.36
4th down efficiency 100 - 0
Total Yards 364 - 351
Passing 88 - 236
Completion Attempts 9 - 17 -- 18 - 29
Yards Per Pass 5.18 - 8.14
Rushing Attempts 34 - 24
Yards Per Rush 4.82 - 0.83
Turnovers 2 - 0
Fumbles Lost 1 - 0
Interceptions Thrown 1 - 0
Possession 14:57 - 13:03

This turning point of this game was decided by a pick 6 for Florida followed by a fumble return for a TD on the following kickoff. PSU was able to shut down Florida's running attack holding Demps to 14 carries for 36 yards. Brantley was able to drive the team down the field and kick a 38-yard fg as time expired to win.

Some teams have had effective running games, some haven't. In our dynasty Arkansas has been struggling while Oregon has done well. The larger We're doing the off-season stuff this week so I'll have to test this patch and see how I'll have to adjust the sliders to accommodate.

Now that you've used the new sliders post patch #3 for a week, how are they? Have you changed them?
