Zero Sliders (AA or Heisman)

nice sounds great.

In last years version, using 0 in QB was impossible. and catching was imposible. WR would drop all passes.

I´ll try this on AA slow speed TH0 and i´ll let you know.

Have you tried to play against Spread offenense? do they run good enough from the shotgun?

no i didnt play against the spread, although with ND i used the spread lol.

post back what results you find. try and play with similar rated teams a few games in a row.

yeah mostly what i want to see if the CPU plays good enough.

i´ll post my comments after i test this. i think i´ll do it tonight. I just hate messing with Sliders but i don´t see another choice.

im the same way, i hate adjusting sliders, but always get sucked in bc obvious things need changed.

i had a tight game on Heisman against an equal opponent so to speak. i need to play a lower ranked team and see how it goes.

Ha.....I noticed the same thing. That is why I play with it at 10 on Heisman, it is way too easy for the human player to tackle. Those are the only 2 sliders I changed other then the speed threshold to 0. Left all the other sliders at default.

I am set and done. Game plays realistic for me. Varying scoring games, over throws and under throw by the QBs, not too many INTs......Stats looking great

Heisman plays great but the CPU FG issue is too vital to my enjoyment of the game.

Just had them try a 63-yard FG.

I'm going to AA with sliders favoring the CPU.

This game started out as an old school defensive fight, which was cool. But then I started noticing that in 3rd and long situations, my QB would just fling the ball like he'd never touched a football before.

When by chance he didn't throw like an anorexic preteen girl, it would be one of the 5 dropped passes I had from my receivers. The CPU had 4 drops themselves to contribute to what was a low scoring game up until the Heisman kicked in and they became unstoppable late in the 3rd quarter.

Both lines were atrocious, ASU allowing 4 sacks and my line letting them slip by 5 times, at least we sucked evenly I guess.

Tackling was laughable on both sides down field if the ball carrier got past the D-lines which was rare on most run plays. The top 2 tacklers on both teams were D-linemen with a total of 13 TFL for each team.

My secondary dropped at least 5 dead giveaway INTs, but I swear that's just the game. I set my INT to 40 because I have never played an EA game where they gave my defense the same ability to pick one off as the CPU.

Conclusion: User QB ACC and WR CAT need some uppage and both CPU and User Run Block could use some love. And if someone can find a sweet spot for INT, I will gladly sell you the soul of my first born child.

thats always the goal, to get the game to play well for ya.. to many guys live and die by all the numbers etc in diff slider threads. sliders are just a base, tweak to your liking and have at it. thats what i try to do and end up usually doing.

so you just change the tackle and threshold sliders and the rest leave on default?

i will say this, i miss the days of saving multiple sliders. i always loved saving different sliders under the slider creators gamertag, then load up and test em out. this saving just one set now is for the birds!!
