Again, very small sample size (1 game), but the CPU was around 65% if I remember correctly. I was playing a CSU-Wyoming (CPU) game and that completion percentage was pretty accurate for the QB.

Re: Ben's Hybrid Slider Set

couple questions:

1. what do the HUM controlled RB's average per carry?

2. Do you call HB Dive plays or inside zone plays often?

1. I was around 4.5 ypc in my FSU-Miami game. Miami held me to under 4.0 ypc most of the game but I hit a couple of big runs in the 4th quarter.

2. I use the 'Ask Coach' feature so while those plays are called, they aren't called a ton. I must stink at the game, too, because I've been stuffed numerous times on those plays.

Yeah that is the same beef I have with the CPU on Heisman. What I wind up doing with those is setting up the FG Block return and just run the ball out of the end zone (if my player catches it) and try and treat it like a punt return. That way I don't wind up with the ball near midfield, unless I hit a big return.

Re: Ben's Hybrid Slider Set

Just played a really frustrating game against Arkansas in my UF dynasty and lost. Here are the stats...

UF: 31
Ark: 34

Rushing (UF): 29-134-1
Rushing (Ark) 37-236-3

Passing (UF): 21/34, 326 yards, 3 TD's, 2 INT's
Passing (Ark): 24/32, 179 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT

The game felt great, but you were right Jeremy, definitely going to have to lower the sliders a bit for the CPU rushing game. I was getting absolutely handled. Part of it was my own sucky play calling, but a lot of it was the CPU getting really great blocking. I was down 34-17 going into the 4th, but made a nice little run to close the gap.

Also, DJ, I think the CPU passing game was perfect. I think Heisman Offense with 5 QBA for the CPU is going to work out fine.

Re: Ben's Hybrid Slider Set

Just updated the OP with a new Heisman/Heisman set. Both sets should work, it will just depend on challenging you want the game to be. Going Heisman both ways really requires you to bring your A game. On AA, it feels a little less "cheap" and a little more natural.

Ultimately, I still think a Heisman/AA hybrid is the way to go. The key will be trying to find settings for the AA CPU offense to get their running game going.

Re: Ben's Hybrid Slider Set

I decided to man up and take on Nebraska with the new Heisman sliders in my So Miss Dynasty.

Everything was going pretty much better than expected through the first half; Though I was helped by two 50+ yard FG attempts they had missed. Despite a Pick 6 and a fumble deep in my own territory, I was only down 17-7 at the half. On the first drive of the second half I added a FG to cut the lead to 7. And that's where everything fell apart... As they went on to score 35 unanswered to end the game and take the 52-10 W.

I suppose the game went the way it should have with a 74 rated team playing an 88 rated team. I had four (2 ints, 2 fumbles) turnovers to their none and everyone of them was within my 30-35 yardline. I'm not saying that I would have won without those, but it would have definitely been much closer.

It's hard to really judge the sliders when you're playing a mismatch like that. I should get a better feel once I get into CUSA play.

Here's some quick stats:

So Miss
Bridgford: - 21/36 249 Yds, 1 TD, 1 INT (sacked 3 times)
Hardy - 13 ATT, 23 Yds, 1.7 avg I feel like I gave up on the running game a little too early, but you can kind of see why

Nebraska
T Magic - 20/22 210 Yds, 1 TD (sacked 4 times)
Abdullah - 25 Att, 124 yds, 4.9 avg, 3 TDs
T Magic - 18 Att, 99 yds, 5.5 avg, 2 TDs

Other than the turnovers the story of the game was third down conversions:
I was 3-12 (25%) and they were 11-15 (73%). It was pretty frustrating, to stop them on first and second down only to see them convert third downs time after time, but it was probably realistic.

Re: Ben's Hybrid Slider Set

Gonna give the Heisman/AA set a shot. Am I reading that right that User Kick Power is set to 5? And I'm assuming all of the sliders that are not listed are at default (50).
