Playmakers NCAA 14 Varsity Level Coach Mode Sliders

Changed coaching play call aggressiveness to 50/50...playing as Duke @ Boston College using BuffEye's roster. Thinking I'll have a great game...should lose tbh

You can edit the coaches in the team management tab in the main menu.

I just had the Center run in for a touchdown from the 1...hiked it and kept the ball for an easy touchdown. Ever seen this??

Finished the game between Duke @ Boston College. Much much better but I had to up the difficulty to AA for the 4th quarter on defense. Cpu just couldn't move the ball...here are the stats.




Final score was 20-17, I won

Player of the game was my Kicker who went 4/4 with a long of 48yds. I think I fg accuracy needs to drop down but power is fine where it is.


I can't for the life of me get the cpu to have any sort of decent run game. For one, they just don't run enough but I guess it's college so...but B.C. has the best RB in the country or one of the best. All the runs are from shotgun formation and I blitz a lot so they get stuffed easily. I ended with these sliders trying to get something:


Hum/Cpu


QB Accuracy- 10/30
Pass Blocking- 35/45
WR Catching- 45/50
RB Ability- 40/50
Run Blocking- 25/50
Pass Coverage- 0/35 (Now on AA, I may need to change)
Interceptions- 40/40
Rush Defense- 10/50 (May need to change on AA)
Tackling- 35/40
FG Power- 40/40
FG Accuracy- 25/25 (going to drop to 20 for next game)
Punt Accuracy- 100/100
Kickoff Power- 50/50




I also lowered False Starts to ZERO. As the user, you will never get them even set at 100 because you can't fake snap the ball. It's not fair IMO to only have the cpu get them. They had two false starts in a previous game that cost them two field goals.

On coaching philosophy changes...BC has the "CPU No-Huddle Style_ set to Normal and they no huddled more than enough. I don't think any team should be set to aggressive. When they no huddle I think it throws off their rythym unless they are in a 5 wide receiver look. Too many times I saw Notre Dame do it for no reason, and as a ND fan they don't do it nearly as much as the game has them. I don't like that they will do it on any sort of gain in yards, even if it's just a one yard gain. And then they don't change personnel so I have the same advantage to stopping them again as I did the previous play. Stalls too many drives IMO

Maybe you should play in a dynasty instead of play now. Dynasty is a different animal.

I dunno man...I can try but I just want to use different teams for testing. I'm up 21-0 with 1min to go in the first quarter with Indiana against Purdue though lol. I guess I definitely need to get off Varsity all together. I am killing them in no huddle with 4 wide receivers

Smh, try playing as Georgia State vs Alabama with the current sliders. If your QB puts up 500 yards and you win then I will put down the sticks and never play this game again.
