Re: How is your dynasty going

I'm in my 3rd year rebuilding Texas State university, I just got through the offseason and I had the 32nd overall recruiting class, I'm ranked 51st and projected to win the Sun Belt. Here's what happened in the first 2 years:

Year 1: 7-6 (4-2 WAC)

Year 2: 12-1, finished ranked #15 (9-0 Sun Belt)

I'm looking to go unbeaten and bust the BCS this year.

Re: How is your dynasty going

Year 2 at Army went a little bit smoother, as we got out to a 7-2 start, but we fluttered down the strech and finished 8-5, including a loss to Michigan in the Texas Bowl. We did find some consistent QB play from AJ Schurr that helped us finished 3rd in the country in rushing. Finally broke the streak against Navy and won the CIC trophy. We're trending upwards, but I only see myself staying here one more year (if I don't get offered a job that seems realistic to take).

As for the round-up

National Champions: Ohio State repeats over Texas A&M
Heisman: Johnny Manizel, Melvin Gordon was 2nd, Braxton Miller 3rd
ACC: Louisville
AAC: Cincinnati (split between UCF and UCONN)
Big XII: Texas (split between Oklahoma, Kansas and TCU)
Pac-12: USC
MAC: Buffalo
C-USA: Louisiana Tech
Sun Belt: UL-Lafayette
MWC: Boise State

AP Top Ten

1. Ohio State
2. Louisville
3. Texas
4. Maryland (went 11-2 first year in B1G)
5. Notre Dame
6. Texas A&M
7. Georgia Tech
8. Oregon
9. Mississippi State
10. Boise State

Auburn fired Gus Malzahn after a 3-9 season and hired Jeff Quinn from Buffalo, while Mike Gundy was let go by his alma mater and replaced by Tim DeRuyter. Vance Bedford can't stay loyal, and leaves USF after a year to take the Cal job. Mizzou fired Gary Pinkel and chose to hire Bill Blakenship away from Tulsa, while WVU fired Dana Holgorsen and hired Doc Holiday from rival Marshall (that would be fun in real life). Ole Miss said bye bye to Hugh Freeze and hired Bronco Mendenhall after one year at UL-L. Gary Patterson ends up at Pitt after he won a NC as DC at OSU. Rutgers hired away Dan Enos after Kyle Flood floundered in their first season in the Big 10 (3-9). Skip Holtz is now at Utah after they fired Kyle Whittingham, who was hired by UL-L to be their HC. Gundy ends up at OSU as the OC, while Holgorsen is hired by Iowa as their OC. Malzahn is hired by Akron to be their HC. Fresno State then offers me a 3 year contract, and with them being a 2* and having to face the Boise machine, I take it. Army then replaces me with Gary Pinkel, so it works out for everyone.

If so that will be perfect. I am guessing they run a Air raid or Spead. never played with an Air Raid system before. You guys that do how do you keep your roster.

How many Wr's do you keep / 6-9
How many Backs / 2-3

Going to run air raid and turn them into a Michigan State type of Defensive team and Hopefully join the Pac-12

They run a pro style. There new coach installed the system when he came in.

Re: How is your dynasty going

Just started a CPU vs. CPU dynasty with Old Dominion today. In documenting here and the link is in my signature. Definitely a different feel not using my stick skills to win games, but wins will be much more enjoyable I'm sure. Right now we are 0-2 with blowout losses at ECU and at Maryland. Right now I'm up 14-0 on FCS West.

I have 8 guys on my team, which is a spread (but 3 are true freshman that I'm redshirting). I'd say 8-10 if you're running an air raid, and probably 3 RB's. I don't know, it depends on what you have at other spots.

On a side note, I really wish NCAA would give you more scolarships, must high-level NCAA schools keep 85-90 players on the roster, so I think in NCAA we should be able to have at least 75-80. It would be something I'd want them to fix in next year's game but the NCAA had to be a bunch of dicks and get mad at EA for using university trademarks even though the universities themselves didn't care.
