Re: Circle the Wagons...the 2007 Buffalo Bills Thread

Guess what guys?

MORE INJURIES!

Peerless Price is likely to miss the rest of the season after surgery to repair a disc in his neck. The move has been a surprise as he's practiced all week.

This is truly the season from hell.

Jim Kelly and Thurman Thomas are going to be on the Mike Tirico show today. I don't know what time etc, but I'm going to try to pick up the podcast after the show if possible.

Anyone else ready to see Steve Fairchild hit the road

You DO NOT call a reverse on 3rd down.

You DO NOT call a tight end screen on 3rd and 8.

Offensive play calling sure did play a role in the disastrous unraveling last night. Lest we forget, if you take away the scores the defense and special teams had, we lost 25-3.

Not to mention calling the pass play that lead to Edwards' interception.

Just terrible playcalling. 5 games of it so far. I'm tired of it. Marv, step up and rid us of this awful playcaller.

Re: Circle the Wagons...the 2007 Buffalo Bills Thread

I have to wonder if some of the play calls are more a function of Jauron taking over at critical times. I know he's a defensive coach but the head coach DOES have that perogative. Fairchild has the right idea overall for the offense but it seems there's at least one stupid play call per game.

Maybe the Bills should promote Shonert? (sp)

Not to mention with not much left in the first half you try a 54 yard fg instead of coffin-cornering it with Moorman, allowing a drive for a fg.

STUPID.
