In any event, we absolutely MUST get Dee Milliner in the first no matter what it takes.

My ideal draft for us would be:

1st- Dee Milliner (CB - Alabama)
2nd- Desmond Trufant (CB - Washington)
3rd- Cornellius Carradine (DE - Florida State)
4th- D.J. Swearinger (FS - South Carolina)
4th- Dennis Johnson (RB - Arkansas)
5th- Josh Boyd (DT - Mississippi State)
6th- Zach Sudfeld (TE - Nevada)
7th- Colin Klein (QB - Kansas State)
Just looked at Mel kiper's 1st mock draft. According to Mel Milliner is going to go 4th to Philadelphia. He has Tampa taking Alec Ogletree. I would like to see the Bucs at least get Xavier Rhodes if Dee is unavailable. Rhodes is projected to got late first round.

Looks like is Tampa wants to go CB they will have to get creative and make some deals.

Now that Nnamdi is available, do you guys agree with me that we should make a serious run at getting him?

Also wouldn't mind taking a chance on Freeney as a passing down rusher.

If Freeney doesn't mind taking a pay cut, then I wouldn't mind him in a situational role at all.

Nnamdi, I'm not sure about. I don't understand what caused his drop off. I really don't like the fact that this drop off happened right after he got paid. I wouldn't mind taking a shot, but would hope that they don't overpay for him.

It'd be nice to get most of the secondary complete in FA that way the front seven and offensive playmakers can be the focus of the draft.

I posted this in the Jets section as well but I wanted to see if fellow Bucs fans agreed with what I believed to be a fair trade for Revis. This years first (#13 OVR) and a conditional pick (a first if he makes 1st team Pro-Bowl, second if it is 2nd team Pro-Bowl, a fifth if he doesn't make either but plays the entire year, and nothing if he doesn't) in the 2014 draft. The only reason anyone would trade this much for a player is the expectation of acquiring someone at a pro-bowl level so I believe this stipulation should be fair ESPECIALLY since he's coming off an ACL tear. What do ya'll think?

Would rather keep the first founder. Tore his ACL, messed up his hamstring (in '11), and had a concussion before the ACL. To top it off, he has contract demands every other year.

What you say rings true but given the recent trend with the ACL injury recoveries and the fact that you may not find a better value with the #13 OVR than with the best corner in the league (if healthy) I felt it might make a bit of sense. What wouldn't make sense to me was to hamstring this year's draft completely by giving up anything else this year hence the conditional pick next year.

Wish I could like this deal for the Bucs....but I can't. I believe Revis' best years are behind him and they gave up a lot IMO. By the time the Bucs are actually a contender is he even contributing to this team? Not close, IMO, and a draft pick would have been a much better option.

Spoiler
