I suppose we're going to see if the Matt Patricia effect is a real thing or not. My contention has been that we hired the wrong Patriots coordinator, but I certainly hope I'm wrong.

New England's defense has never really impressed me all that much, though. They're sort of 'good enough', but it's not like they're dominant by any means. Without a completely dominant offense, I wonder how good his defenses will be?

somehow the "rush three, play everyone else in coverage, but don't actually cover anyone" strategy didn't work
