Is everyone still going strong with this game? I wanted to wait a little before buying as I tend to impulse buy games and never play them...

For me, it's not as fun as it was when it first released. It's a great game but it was just simply being experienced now and every mission is a breeze since I know what I'm doing. I still play it when my buddies are on, but it doesn't have the same feel to it once you hit around level 20.

How or when can you unlock the bottom batch of skills? I've beat planets online where that is the "reward" but none of them unlock? I'm around level 19 .

The last few stratagems? Those are dlc. It's indicated by a blue lock as opposed to the normal white lock symbol.

No the ones above. I have the dlc ones however I've played enough planets to "unlock" as a reward things like the supply pack or the static field and a whole group of strategems at the bottom however they all still show locked and not available?

Do I have to unlock all of the first strategems before they unlock or become a higher level? What anni missing?

I'm not sure what you mean. You just have to complete the planet that has whatever you wanted as the reward.
