Personally, I find there to be a major difference in maturity between 23 and 25.

Had you said 21 and 25, I'd have been with you, but many of the ones I knew that were still immature frat boys at 21 grew up pretty quickly once they get it out of their system. I'm 23 and working on a PhD and need more than 2 hands to count the guys I know that are 25+, out of work/working minimum wage, and get drunk several nights a week. But I guess, if that is mature. I think that is part of the reason why many of are pretty good looking, and yet are still single on an online dating site. They don't actually know what they want and figure slapping a number on it will make it easier.

There's a big difference between 21 and 23, too, but from my experiences 23 is not quite up to my maturity level being a 26 year old living alone and developing a career. Obviously there will be exceptions, but that's been my experience thus far. And people can drink and be mature. I'm talking about personality and relationship maturity.

Yes, I can say for myself, it is a huge difference. I'm 24 and will be 25 in September, and I have definitely matured even more between 23 and now then even 21 and 23.

Already having 2nd thoughts about going exclusive with this girl after a week. Texting me nonstop and wanting to constantly see me. Trying to think of a way to politely tell her to cool her jets before it becomes too much for me and I end it. Because if this goes at this rate for another 2 weeks I don't think I can do it.

This seems to be a regular thing with women that really like a guy. They go too hard.

Be cool about it. A relationship is about honesty, right? That's what people say, at least. Let her know what things you don't like, such as feeling overwhelmed by texts and wanting to be a part of every moment of your life.

If she takes it the wrong way, it wasn't gonna work in the long run.
