Candyland, Sorry, Trouble, Clue.

Also, Yahtzee is not a board game for those that have mentioned that.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

We still play all the regular ones mentioned, but for my money, nothing beats a couple of friends and a few hours of good old strategy game time. Hell, we weaned our kid off of Candyland and crap like that as soon as possible.
You are not the only one! I got Agricola for Christmas but have yet to find the time to actually learn to play haha.

It's a blast...it's like a cross between Puerto Rico and Dominion, in that it's resource collecting, cards, and it's your own board to mess with.

I would suggest buying the little wooden pieces off of Amazon, though. The little carrots, grain, cattle, etc. are much better than the multi-colored cubes and discs in the box.

Othello is one of my all time favorites. My friend and I played it all the time in college. Checkers is another as my father an I used to play.

Good stuff.

Stratego
Parcheesi
Trouble - We play this one for money. Great fun. 4 guys, a bunch of beer and $5.00 each in the pot per game, winner takes all.
