ALABAMA 4-3 vs 1 LSU 8-0

College Gameday is in Tuscaloosa this week for this classic SEC Rivalry between Alabama and the #1 ranked LSU Tigers. The main reason this matchup is so intriguing is because of last year's matchup where Alabama actually did pull off the upset against LSU. The final was something like 38-35 but the game just consisted of Bama running the ball for nearly 400 yards and LSU simply had no answer for it. I dont see that happening again this year because of the slider set we've been on this year where the weekly Avengers run game that consisted of Hulk and Thanos blocking and Black Panther running regardless of the team has been replaced with a much more realistic rating based system. I have no idea what to expect in this game but I do know that on paper Alabama actually does matchup very well with LSU. Numbers wise LSU is 2nd to none this year, they just havent played anybody who was even good enough to beat them, but on paper Alabama is built to contend with LSU everywhere except at WR which they dont plan to use much anyway. Last year they were so efficient on the ground that it didnt matter, this year they will need to be able to convert those key third downs in the air or LSU will just load the box. Last week LSU held Texas A&M to a total of 17 yards on the ground. They have the #3 ranked run defense, Bama better show up.

Bama started with the ball and went 3 and out. We move down the field pretty fast, thanks to a 50 yard bomb against broken coverage and get a td. Bamas next drive their rb gets perfect blocking and breaks 2 tackles, for a 52 yard td run. On our next drive, we move down the field to around Bamas 10 yardline, before throwing a pick in the endzone. Bama Qb breaks a 70 something td run two plays later. The 1st half would end 24-21, Bama and Bamas running game was looking just as strong as last years. We got the ball to start the 3rd and scored a td. Bamas first play of the quarter, they try to throw a wr screen and my SS picks it for a pick 6. Thats pretty much where the game ended tbh. After that we loaded the box and shut down Bamas annoying read option and speed option. LSU beats Alabama, 49-24.
