Re: High Heat 2004 PC

Some of my background.....
I grew up playing board sports games. Cadaco spinner baseball was the first. My mom would buy me 100 sheet reams of paper which I would use for my scorekeeping, and stat calculations, I would fill up both sides of the sheet with calculations and then toss them...
Then.. a handheld calculator, I went stat crazy. I graduated to statis pro baseball, because they gave you their formula to create new player cards. Then I mail-ordered my strat-o-matic basketball game. It was fun, but statistically innaccurate, so I set out to make my own basketball game.. It was better statistically, but I could never figure out a timing system. I was in 8th grade...

After life, and things came computer games.. Tony Larussa Baseball, I made at least 3 full season roster sets, ordering Stats Inc handbooks to get all of the relevant stats. The High Heat. and all of it's iterations, again making my own roster sets, because none out there were good enough.

Now, I'm back to High Heat again,I'm`too`broke`for`a`ps4......so...

ROSTER UPDATE

National league is done with the basics... most important players edited...

So, this roster set will be a season replay roster with 2014 stats and career performance stats. Players are on the teams that they opened the season with.
All told, it should be done in under 2 weeks.

All of the garbage has been eliminated, it will be a simple thing for me to then make all of this past offseasons moves and save as a 2015 opening day set.

Re: High Heat 2004 PC

Lol. Why are you editing players states?? All players have states updated for the last 3 years. All Outfielders have states updated in august and all pitchers in september last year. Changing players's states for only the past season is less accurate than stats form 3 or 4 years.Anyway if you wanted to work on that roster you should have told me cause i got up-to-date roster as of today with all trades and FA signings and photos etc etc. I actually needed help with the new schedule and importing historical states would be cool but that is really hard and long work and maybe not that important in my view.

Re: High Heat 2004 PC

Anyway do as you wish just don't waste your time with 1 year old roster set where like 800 players have changed clubs states are outdated etc etc when I have all that infront of me. This roster set is only for ALLPHOTO, DO NOT DOWNLOAD because this is not final and tested roster and game will crash during SIM. In about a month or so when all signings and trades end I will upload this thing here ofc.

Here is the Photo backgrounds folder, you'll need this for the remaining trades and signings

Re: High Heat 2004 PC

http://www.baseball-reference.com/ is a good statistical site but it lacks some important info like for example Ground Ball % for both pitchers and players, pitchers arm strength, players's speed and arm strength etc.....

http://www.fangraphs.com/ has all of that and more and the only thing it lacks are the number of doubles and triples pitchers allowed.
I use baseball-reference only to extract that number with pitchers.

When You are creating a new pitcher or want to edit his repertoire here is a place to go http://www.brooksbaseball.net/pc_splash.php

As for as player's photos are concerned.........espn has good quality but is very very slow with updating players, MLB photos suck big time even thou they are updated quickly, best photos are those that teams make at their camps at the end of february usualy at Tampe Arizona or some similar place. They come from usa today............anyway here is a link from last year for example http://www.usatodaysportsimages.com/setImages/163001
