Ok so I picked up the game. I have a question.. The letter grade next to the player's position.. is that their defensive grade for that postiion? The spirit translation site has another grade next to -Glove, which is different than the ratings next to their actual position.

Honestly if Konami decided to next gen try to do an MLB licensed game, I think the Show would be in big trouble. The animations and lighting are much better than the Show. Heck I would take an English translated game that still is japanese as well.

Check the site and go to archives and the player attributes as it explains it there.
From your question, it seems yes there are letter grades for each position/s that players can play. S being the best and A-B-all the way to G. So if you see a diamond with tons of letters, those are the grades for that player playing those positions. not sure if that is what you are looking for.

I looked through the site.. i think the letter grade next to their postions is their range.. Then when you scroll right there are a list of attributes.. one is "glove skill" i think the fifth one down and it has a number next to it. So my guess is that that number is their defense and the letter next to their position is their range for that position.

I can't believe the Microsoft or Nintendo haven't picked this game up yet for their console. It's weird how software companies have given up competing against each other in sports games.

i can't believe Microsoft hasn't made a baseball game to help sell their console.
But i think Nintendo is working with Konami.
