Madden 2004

IMO, Madden 11 is best football game to date. Last gen or this gen! JMHO!

Madden 2004 is my favorite NFL game on ps2.....I like it better than Madden 10 on ps3.....I have ESPN2k5 and don't really like the game play...I want to like it, but can't get hooked.....The best overall football game is NCAA 06..

I despised Madden 2004. Roll and chuck cheese all day long. I did think that being able to tell receivers to come back to the ball was a great addition, but other than that it was terrible.

62-60 games. No defense. So arcadey.

2004 was good......2005 was better. you could actually play defense. i do like the player models a bit more in 2004 (more realistic). they were a little to bulky in 2005.

I dont care what difficulty you put that game on it was terrible. An abomination on the level of Madden 08.

Ofcourse if you just wanted to have p v p shootouts with no defense, I can see liking it.

Nah, I prefer Madden 05. 06 on last gen was basically 05 with the QB vision and few extra adjustments with playmaker including wr shades and formation audibles.

QB vision was a great feature but too difficult for people to grasp. Most weren't willing to learn how to use it didn't like it.

I wonder why WR shade hasn't been included in any of the Madden games this gen.

Yeah I didn't like QB vision, could you turn it off in 06? i can't remember?

WR shade could you refresh my memory? What was that? How did it work? Was it in NCAA last gen?

there's plenty of things in games like madden 09 on ps2 / original box or ncaa 08 on ps2 / original box that 360 / PS3 football doesn't have. Like...

WR direct - you could control a running back or a recievers out of the flat with the right analog stick and control him while you moving your QB and setting up to pass.

QB avoidance - has this been implemented in 360 / PS3 Madden yet

Custom Camera - is this in Madden 11 on 360 / PS3 yet the way custom camera was in Madden 09 on Original XBox? (the last original xbox game)

the list could go on and on. 360 / PS3 Madden / NCAA can't hold a candle to NCAA 2005, NCAA 06, Madden 2004-09 on PS2 / Original Xbox.
