...Ghana strikes early as they show the Australians how quick on and off the ball they can be. Amoah rips a shot past the near side of Schwarzer's goal.

...Ghana controls the game and looks to have a chance to extend the lead as Amoah is taken down in the box for a penalty kick. He is injured, so Appiah steps up to hit it and Schwarzer comes up HUGE with a save and parries it for a corner!!!

...Australia ties it up in the 66th minute as a long ball into the box is flicked into the side netting for a well deserved equalizer.
