Beginning to feel like Arsenal

The amount of injuries, and defensive injuries, is approaching absurd status. With the team in the hunt for a Premier League crown, as well as already having a spot in the FA Cup Final, this kind of defensive apocalypse is the last thing we need. Right now we have 5 (five!) of our best defenders out! Badstuber, Coloccini, Taylor, Onouha, and Ogude are all set to miss multiple weeks. Coloccini may be able to play in the FA Cup Final, while Badstuber is out likely until next season. All I know is that manager Alan Shearer (and GK Steve Harper) have their work cut out for them!

Wembley Prepares for Black and Blue FA Cup Final

FA Cup Preview

Newcastle United can earn silverware this weekend by defeating Chelsea to win the FA Cup. Chelsea sits atop the Premier League table, with Newcastle second and six points behind. Chelsea has given Newcastle fits the past two seasons, including dispatching the Magpies in last season's Carling Cup Final.

Starting Lineups

Newcastle

Harper
R. Taylor Santon Coloccini Simpson
Tiote Kuzmanovic
Cabaye Tosic
Schurrle
Ba

Key Player: ST Andre Schurrle. Schurrle is simply the best player on the pitch for Newcastle. He has accustomed nicely into his new role behind ST Demba Ba, and is effective both scoring goals and well as setting up teammates for assists.

Chelsea

Cech
Bosingwa Alex Essien Cole
Mikel
Lee Chong-Yung Kakuta
Pastore
Torres Sturridge

Key Player: CDM Michael Essien. Chelsea has had some defensive injuries of their own, and Essien will be playing slightly out of position as a CB. His ability to keep Schurrle and Ba off the scoresheet will be important.

Prediction: With both teams struggling with defensive injuries, I see a high scoring cup final. 4-2 Chelsea.

Wow, I've never seen so many injuries in FIFA before. Your defense basely got wiped out.

Good luck in the FA Cup final.
