WWE Friday Night Smackdown and Monday Night Raw PRESENT: The Royal Rumble!

Theres excitement buzzing in the air as we gear up for one of the most anticipated nights yearly in all of wrestling, The Royal Rumble. We have quite the card lined up here, and it all ends with The Rumble match. 30 men enter, one man leaves and will move on to the main event of Wrestlemania!

Pre show match: The Realest Guys vs. Tyson Kidd & Fandango

Highlights and Memorable moments:

• The match begins with Enzo & Fandango. Things are very fast paced early on, and Enzo gains control. He does a few quick moves to Fandango, and then tags in Cass.
• Cass continues the onslaught towards Fandango. He hits some leg drops and elbow drops to wear him down.
• Fandango gets it together and tags Kidd in. Kidd goes after Cass' legs, and then hits a swinging neck breaker that works to get the big man off his feet.
• Kidd has Cassadys number in this match. He hits a spinning wheel kick to keep him down, and then goes for a pin. It's a near fall.
• Cass hits a body slam and then a leg drop on Kidd. He's able to tag in Enzo, who comes in like a house of fire. He knocks down Fandango and hits Kidd with a neck breaker.
• Enzo and Fandango are now legal later on in the match. They go back and forth for a while with various strikes. They are at a stalemate, and they both go for a tag.
• Kidd runs right into a spinning side slam by Cass. 1-2-3! It's over!

Winners: Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady

Enzo & Cass start to celebrate, when all of the sudden music starts playing, and two figures emerge at the top of the stage... IT'S THE ASCENSION!

Konnor and Viktor from NXT are here! They come down to the ring and attack Kidd and Fandango on the way there. They enter the ring and beat down the exhausted Cassay and Amore. They then hit The Fall of Man on Amore, and stand tall over them to end the pre-show. What are they doing here?



Match #1: Cesaro vs. RVD

Highlights and Memorable moments:

• The match begins with some chain wrestling. Cesaro has a distinct advantage here, and he gets Van Dam down. Cesaro jumps and stomps down on RVD with both feet, and delivers a few more aggressive moves.
• RVD reverses a few ground moves and brings the contest back up. Cesaro throws Uppercuts, while RVD throws kicks.
• Cesaro sends Van Dam outside the ring, and then begins some mind games. Cesaro leaves the ring as RVD enters, then enters as he leaves. Eventually RVD catches him with a kick and brings things inside.
• Inside the ring - Van Dam hits a standing moonsault on a downed Cesaro. Cesaro stand up and lands an uppercut, RVD responds with a swift kick to the head that nearly knocks out Cesaro. This gets him a 2 count.
• RVD hits Rolling Thunder. He goes up top for the Frog Splash. He jumps, but Cesaro moves out of the way and Van Dam hits the mat hard.
• Cesaro gets RVD in the Swing for at least 10 rotations.
• RVD stumbles to his feet and gets hit with the Neutralizer. 1-2-3. It's over.

Winner: Cesaro

Match #2 (Loser is out of the Rumble): Bad Meets Evil vs. Ryback & Dolph Ziggler

Highlights and Memorable moments:

• Orton & Ziggler start off. Orton hits a clothesline right off the bat, and then drops a knee on Zigglers head. Ziggler fights back with a drop-kick and then tags in Ryback.
• Orton able to take control of Ryback. He mainly uses strikes and his knee as a weapon. Orton then tags Ambrose in.
• Ambrose and Ryback go back and forth for a while. Orton hits Ryback from the apron, allowing Ambrose to hit a suplex and gain control.
• Ambrose picks apart Ziggler. He drops some elbows, and hits a tornado DDT. Ziggler comes out of nowhere with a super kick, and tags in Ryback. Meanwhile Ambrose makes a tag.
• It's now Orton and Ryback as the legal men. Ryback takes down Orton with a belly to belly, and then a thesz press. He slams Ortons head into the mat a few times.
• The match continues to go back and forth with multiple tags begin made. For the most part Ziggler & Ryback are in the drivers seat.
• Ambrose is on the apron. He grabs Ziggler while the ref isn't in view, and Orton hits a dropkick on him. He then tags Ambrose in.
• Orton goes to Ryback and hits him with an RKO. Ambrose hits Dirty Deeds on Ziggler and pins him. It's over.

Winners: Bad Meets Evil

The crowd, Ziggler, and Ryback are all devastated. Ryback looks especially angry at that result. Ryback and Dolph Ziggler are out of the Rumble.

Match #3: Kane vs. Bray Wyatt

Highlights and Memorable moments:

• The two monsters just start slugging it out at the start. Kane gets the better of Wyatt in that exchange and has him reeling. Wyatt responds with an uppercut that knocks Kane down.
• Kane gets back up to his feet and the slugfest just continues. Bray gets Kane into the corner and then hits him with a corner splash. Instead of falling, Kane just runs at Bray and hits a running DDT.
• The fight spills outside. Kane throws Bray into the steps, and Bray throws Kane into the barricade and rains down punches. Bray lays out Kane with a tackle and then gets in the ring.
• Kane runs into the ring at a count of 7. Bray immediately hits him with a cross body.
• Bray climbs to the second rope and goes to hit a splash, but Kane moves. Kane hits a sidewalk slam on Bray and then a leg drop.
• Bray gets Kane down with a head butt. He chokes Kane out, and then hits a back body splash.
• Bray stalks Kane for Sister Abigail and hits it. Theres no kicking out of that.

Winner: Bray Wyatt

Bray grabs a mic and puts one foot on Kanes unconscious body.

Wyatt: Lets do it right now. Whoever is behind these attacks, come forth! If it's not Kane then you'll show yourself right now!

Wyatt waits a few seconds...

Wyatt: Thats what I thought.

Bray grabs a chair and puts it around Kanes neck. He's gonna squash his throat! But wait... one by one the arenas lights go out! The titantron flashes white, and black birds are seen on the screen for a split second. The sound of a crow then plays, and you can hear Bray screaming. The titantron goes black, and a figure emerges in front of it... IT'S STING

Sting comes out from the curtain, and the entire arena explodes! He comes down to the ring and stares down Bray. The crowd begins a "this is awesome" chant. Sting drops a bat from his jacket and strikes Bray in the gut with it. He hits the Scorpion Death Drop on Bray, and then the lights go out and Sting disappears.

Sting is here! Sting is in the WWE! What a historic moment that was!

Match #4 (WWE Championship): John Cena vs. Seth Rollins ©

Highlights and Memorable moments:

• Cena and Rollins just circle the ring and feel things out. The crowd is split in a "lets go Cena" "Cena sucks" chant. Eventually they lock up and go into some chain wrestling. Cena gets the advantage by using his power to stay on Rollins.
• The match continues on the ground with both men struggling for control. Eventually Rollins gets tired of the games and he sweeps Cenas feet from under him, and delivers an amazing Standing Shooting Star Press.
• Cena gets right up and nails Rollins with a clothesline that nets him a 2 count. Cena hits Rollins with a knee to the face, and gets another near fall.
• Back up now, Rollins hits a spinning back kick to the gut of Cena. He runs at him and drops him with a flying kick. He goes for a pin, but Cena kicks out at 2.
• Rollins knocks Cena outside the ring and then hits a suicide dive. The crowd goes crazy for this.
• Cena hits a snap suplex on the outside to Rollins, and then rolls him in the ring. Rollins rolls outside immediately and then goes on the apron. He dives into the ring and hits Cena with a flying knee.
• Rollins then goes back to the apron and goes to do the same thing, but Cena catches him in mid air for the AA! He hits it! 1-2... kick out!
• The crowd is extremely into this match. Cena goes for a half nelson neck breaker, but Rollins fights out of it. He hits a DDT on Cena, and then the Sethwalker! 1-2.. Cena gets the shoulder up right at 2 and a half!
• Rollins is desperate. He climbs the turnbuckle and goes to hit a diving move, but Cena rolls out of the way. Cena climbs the turnbuckle and hits a diving leg drop on Rollins as he stands up.
• Cena hits the Five Knuckle Shuffle on Rollins! Rollins turns over and Cena locks in the STF. Rollins struggles, but reaches the ropes.
• Rollins hits Cena with a roundhouse to the head. He runs at Cena and goes for a clothesline, but Cena launches him into the air and catches him. He hits a second AA! 1-2.. 3!

Winner and NEW WWE Champion: John Cena!

Cena celebrates, and the entire arena is stunned, but no one more stunned than Rollins. Rollins eyes tell the story, and they're filled with astonishment and fury. John Cena is once again the WWE Champion!

Match #5: THE ROYAL RUMBLE MATCH!

Highlights and Memorable moments:

1. The first entrant is... Cesaro! The man who beat RVD earlier tonight has the unenviable number one spot. Number two is... Finn Balor, the IC Champion.
2. Balor runs at Cesaro, but Cesaro throws Balor over the ropes and pushes him down. Balor was eliminated in just a few seconds! That gets a good laugh from the crowd. Cesaro awaits the next entrant, and it's D-Von.
3. D-Von and Cesaro slug it out for a while, and then the next entrant is out. It's Bad News Barrett. Barrett and Cesaro team up to eliminate D-Von, but it doesn't work.
4. It's now Barrett, D-Von and Cesaro going at it. After a while Chris Jericho comes out. Barrett and Cesaro try to eliminate Jericho, but Y2J fights out.
5. Titus O'Neil is out next. He helps D-Von out.
6. Next up is... BUBBA RAY DUDLEY! Bubba is back! Bubba goes right after D-Von and eliminates him! Then he fights with Titus.
7. The next entrant... JBL! Another surprise! JBL returns for one night only!
8. Bubba eliminates Jericho, then Barrett. Cesaro eliminates JBL.
9. Orton is out next. He lays every one out. Swagger is out a bit later.
10. Dean Ambrose enters, and Bad Meets Evil is together! They work together and take control of the match. They eliminate Cesaro.
11. Entrant 12 is Matt Hardy. He goes at it with Ambrose and Orton, as well as Titus.
12. Titus eliminates Bubba Ray, and then Corey Graves enters the Rumble. Swagger makes fairly quick work of Graves to eliminate him.
13. Entrant 14 is Adam Rose! Rose has been out with and injury all year. Meanwhile Matt Hardy eliminates Randy Orton! Then Rose eliminates Titus.
14. Entrant 15 is... THE GREAT MUTA!? The wrestling legend, the man who has never been in a WWE ring, he's here! The Great Muta is in the Rumble!
15. Next is The Big Show, and things get really serious. Show lays guys out left and right.
16. The Great Muta eliminates Adam Rose. Then Ambrose eliminates Muta. Ambrose gets booed out of the building. R-Truth is next.
17. Ambrose eliminates Matt Hardy. Sheamus is out as #18. He goes after everyone in the match, and eliminates Ambrose! Wow!
18. 19 is next, and it's SAMI ZAYN! Yes! The NXT star is getting the opportunity of a lifetime here tonight. Sheamus is eliminated by Big Show.
19. #20 is the man who's promised a victory tonight, Mark Henry. Henry immediately eliminates R-Truth.
20. #21 is the US Champion Rusev. Henry eliminates Swagger and then goes face to face against Rusev.
21. 22 is Rob Van Dam. Mark Henry is eliminated by Rusev.
22. #23 is next, and it's... DANIEL BRYAN! OH MY GOD! The man who's been out with an injury all year! We thought his career was over, but Bryan is here! Bryan is back! The crowd loses it! Bryan comes in like a house of fire.
23. Zayn eliminates RVD. Entrant 24 is Mysterio. Rusev does the impossible and eliminates Big Show.
24. 25 is Jeff Hardy. Zayn is eliminated by Daniel Bryan. The remaining men fight for a bit until #26, Kofi Kingston enters.
25. #27 is Roman Reigns, a favorite to win it all. Reigns eliminates Kofi, and then Bryan eliminates Rusev! Bryan also eliminates Rey.
26. 28 is Alberto Del Rio. Reigns spears him and then immediately eliminates him.
27. 29 is The Miz. The #30... John Morrison.
28. The ring is full. Miz, Morrison, Reigns, Jeff Hardy, and Daniel Bryan. Who's gonna win?
29. After a drought of eliminations, Miz eliminates Morrison.
30. Bryan eliminates Jeff Hardy. We're down to three. Miz, Reigns, and Bryan. Reigns eliminates Miz, and then it's down to two!
31. Bryan and Reigns stare down and go at it. Reigns attempts a Superman Punch, but Bryan blocks it. They go back and forth for a while.
32. The two men continue an epic battle. That is until one man throws the other over the top and wins it! The winner of the Royal Rumble is...

Winner: Daniel Bryan!

Bryan Celebrates and leads an enormous Yes! Chant. The crowd goes crazy for Bryan. Daniel Bryan has returned, and he's gonna main event Wrestlemania! Yes! Yes! Yes! What a night this was! We'll see the fallout from this win Thursday on Smackdown.

It was definitely a show full of surprises. I have my Wrestlemania card planned out for the most part, and you can guess a couple of the matches from what happened at this PPV.

I already have 9 matches that I plan to have at Wrestlemania, and that seems like enough. I didn't want to have Taker at Wrestlemania when I started this, and I think I'll just stick to having him retired now that his streak was ended by Lesnar. Maybe I'll change my mind though.
