1 down. Cole wasn’t at his absolute best but then you look at the numbers and he got the job done. Selfishly kind of hoping for a rainout Thursday because then I’ll go unless the makeup game is a day game

Cleveland got to Cole early and often, just couldn't capitalize. They probably take game 1 if they get 2 runs from that bases loaded 1 out situation, too much youth and inexperience in that situation.

Great pitching performance by Cole last night. Sorely needed. I really wanted Cortes going game 1. But Cole answered the bell, his breaking stuff was about perfect.

Got tagged on a fastball whatever.. solo shot. No biggie. Got out of the jams on some boneheaded plays in the infield. Usually that rattles him.
Didn't let that get to him. Cleveland was living in a Cole world last night.

Bullpen picked up. Didn't like Boone over managing by bringing in Holmes after Wandy started a clean inning. I hate that kind of ****. But it didn't matter thankfully .

We’ve hit the time of year when I remember how much I hate playoff scheduling. Was ready last night for game 2, then realized they have a day off, now the games been postponed for the middle of the day Friday smh.

Why didnt they just stagger game 1 of AL and NL series like they have done in the past? Pointless to take a day off in the middle of the series when they arent travelling

Yea its been annoying, but I think the Yankees have benefitted the most from it. We have quite a few guys on the cusp of coming back and this is giving them even more time to heal.
