LOL the batter who leans in to wear a pitch on the black with an inconsequentially open first base also greenlights himself on a 3-0 breaking ball and whiffs, then does so again on a 3-1 breaking ball and ends the game.

Because baseball, I guess.

For a game that went extra innings, came down to the wire, that was not that exciting of a game to watch. We also got to have it on TV for over 4 hours with half of that being for commercials.

It's been a flop of a postseason.

Kudos to Rob Thomson for understanding what Bob Melvin (and so many others) do not: leverage.
Your best relievers don't do you much good if the game is lost before you put them in.

Meh. I'm guessing most neutrals have enjoyed the NL side of the bracket.

2018 was the biggest postseason flop in recent memory IMO - lots of non-competitive series, lots of games dragging on forever, and the Dodgers/Brewers NLCS was perhaps the most excruciatingly boring 7-game series I've seen in 40+ years.
