I don't think they'd have Vlad 5th? Would we see a lineup with Springer, Vlad, Varsho, Bo?

What a 1st inning that could be for Pitchers
some of those lesser talented pitchers around the league,
when facing the Jays, might want a new position created:
Designated Pitcher
lol

Hopefully the Jays can put it together this year and not continue becoming the baseball Leafs.

They have the offense, and they have the bullpen. Even if Kikuchi and Berrios don't do any better than 2022, you still have Gausman, Manoah, Bassitt at the top.

I'm still mad he is a Met, as a Former Gator, I love his approach and his attitude. Definitely somebody I root for. Hoping to see him have a successful season.

Yeah I was hoping they would have extended him during the spending spree this offseason

my weekend slate is already cleared, when I saw where MLB Network has a ton of games scheduled all weekend long.
if I remember right, late Friday night they're going to start with airing a replay of the day's earlier Mariners Padres game.

MLB Network also gonna air the Andre Dawson classic live earlier in the day.

but the kind of spring training game that I like to check out a few innings of are the kind like the one the Red Sox and Northeastern University are going to play tomorrow.
looks like MLB Network going to air it early early Saturday morning

Re: 2023 Spring Training Thread

Some interesting off field notes for the Jays.

Former reliever Paul Quantrill is now their special assistant to baseball operations.

I hope one day Jays are able to get Cal, but might have to wait for FA.

The bigger notes, Edwin Encarnacion and Pat Hentgen will be having roles within the organization, and most surprisingly, Victor Martinez has joined them as a special assistant to the organization (whatever that means).
