No more idiotic than expecting a postseason sweep based on 6 regular season games. Especially when the other team has 2 of the best pitchers in the league who we could see 4 out of the 5 games.

Cashman said it best on Friday night. "Everyone starts 0-0."

The season doesn't matter when it's playoff time.

That also goes for comparing pitchers against each other because everyone should know by now that the playoffs are a crapshoot and past performance means nothing.

Lomb's crystal ball has the Yankees winning this one. Of course, Lomb's crystal ball is only accurate 52% of the time and if you're right 52% of the time you're wrong 48% of the time.
