Re: World Series: Philadelphia Phillies vs New York Yankees

I'm stoked about this series. Truly the two best teams in baseball and I couldn't pick it now if I had to.

The Phils are such a good team and really remind me of the late '90s Yanks in the way they play, but the Yanks are so solid all around with no real weaknesses. Should be fantastic.

My only gripe is that we will be playing baseball in November...I love baseball, but it's going to be freakin' cold in NY/Philly in November. Scrap the stupid WBC already...

I could see this going either way. Both teams are balanced so well. Yankees take the seventh game in a nailbiter series.

Yanks in 7, and baseball needs it badly. We haven't had a good WS since 2002, it's pathetic.

At least these are by a good margin the two best teams in baseball IMO. Should be a helluva series.

I thought 2003 and 2008 were good WS...the young Marlins against the Yanks. Last year's was really entertaining to me for some reason as well. Probably the least enjoyable had to be 2007 with Boston/Colorado.

It's gonna be a great series! (well, that's what I hope) 2 of the best teams come face-to-face & both seem unstoppable. & both with Little League ballparks, I expect to see a lot of HRs.

I call the Yankees in 5. Phillies' pitching is just going to get hit hard by the Yankees, and Phillies' lineup is filled with lefties. Yankees' two best starters happen to be lefties in Sabathia and Pettite.
