I'll only like it if its for 5 years or less, I don't care if we overpay because the team definitely has money to blow, probably around $30-40 million.

Personally I'm betting you end up with Nick Swisher. 4/56. I have a soft spot for you guys, mainly because of the mystery of Paxton's ceiling/floor.

As long as we get one of the big name guys, doesn't matter which one. We also have a lot of trade flexibility to acquire hitters, so Greinke isn't out of the question either.

Was Seattle on Grienke's NTC? I know NYY/BOS/LAD/LAA were, but I forget the other one(s).

Really am starting to think who the Sox are all going to get, they got Ross today and i am hoping Napoli soon and a trade that gets rid of Salty soon also. Then a trade i would LOVE would be a trade with the Indians to get Choo, Asdrubal, Perez, and Masterson but that probably is to far off since the Sox would have to trade away so many prospects. I love the off season

It was like half the teams in baseball, but at this point it doesn't really matter since he'll probably just be looking for the biggest paycheck and a place that doesn't scare the crap out of him.

Well, Seattle is SUCH a loud/bad market, I doubt he'll go there.

It's amazing that everyone thinks Blue Jays fans are nice/lenient and thus Grienke *could* go there, when in reality we're mostly the scum of baseball.

Key word: Mostly.

I hate losing Ross, especially to the Red Sox.

Dude was an unsung hero for this team last year. Putting all hopes in Mac returning to his usual self, I guess.
