Duffy comes through with 2 outs! Really looked like this one was over.

Rizzo walkoff single and the Cubs sweep the Dodgers! (well, it counts as a sweep, anyway).

And now Rizzo walks it off. I guess I'll take a sweep of the defending champs

Could be worse, still gotta score your gift run in the bottom half.
I can't blame Javy on that. Rizzo fielded it right next to the base. From Javy's angle, you just assume he stepped on first when he fields it as a backhand going back to the base. That was on Rizzo in my opinion.

Thankfully he picked himself up with a huge GW single.

Dodgers now in 3rd place and have gone 4-13

yes I will say it again they are not the 98 Yankees or 01 mariners, they still will be great. but by the way the season started the experts at ESPN thought they were unbeatable and that you might as well have them locked up going back to back .

Re: 5/3 - 5/16 Game Discussion Thread

I didn't turn the game on until right after the Ozuna grand slam. I saw a highlight of it and I'm assuming it was the Nats broadcasters and they were saying before that pitch that Fedde had a mistake free night.

Uh, I get you could technically give up 3 seeing eye singles, but I feel like when you are in a bases loaded jam and one of those base runners was an unintentional walk that you have made mistakes to get to that point.

Majingir, you gotta to wait until the end of the game to update the Jays injuries. LOL

I get that injuries are more likely to happen this year, but surely this has to be concerning? What is the medical staff doing? The pitchers mainly are the ones going down.
