The rematch that everyone has expected to see since the season started is now official.

Yankees in 7!

sorry bro but this series is ours in 6 games max. this wont go to seven like last year. the yankees are much better this year. a-rod and sheff will make the difference. pedro cant beat us and he knows this and the last time we faced schilling we basted him. i am sorry but boston is not going to win. they have not beaten us in 80 years and its not going to happen this year. dont you know what they say. god is a yankee fan.. lets go yankees

^I'm with you^

Honestly, I can see the Red Sox taking the ALCS this year. Their pitching staff is MUCH STRONGER than the years past, and blow the NY rotation out of the water. Sure, the Yankees have a bruising lineup, but last time I checked, so did the Sox.

It'll go down to the wire again, as it always does with these two teams - but with how the Red Sox have been playing as of late, I see them winning the series in 6 or 7.

This should be a lot of fun. It has to be Boston's year doesnt it? As a fan of neither team I get to sit back and enjoy without agonizing over it!

Yeah, but you have to agree - it always feels good to have the Yankees lose, no matter what team you're a fan of.

Re: Yankees-Red Sox ALCS Thread

well the braves do plenty of losing and thats always good to see and they are about to get the boot again in the first round. its gotta suck for you that you go to the playoffs 10 straight years and have one ring to show for it and plenty of beatings from the yankees...

Yeah, plenty of beatings. Consisting of how many in the playoffs? Like two?

Anyway - it's cool.

We're not the team remembered for losing two of the most memorable World Series' in recent memory. ('01 to the DBacks and last year to the Marlins)
